…Thank you citizens of Autodale. Good night. Fynn shut off the TV once the announcement ended. He had spread the word of his new rebellion through friends, but so far no one had shown up to the hideout. Fynn was smart, and he used a small abandoned house right outside the city where hardly anyone went.
(sounds good!)
Artemis peered at the house. It looked like the right one. She walked up to the door and knocked.
Fynn jumped, racing towards the front entrance. He peeked through the curtain hung in front of the window, observing who had knocked. She doesn't look evil… After a few seconds, he opened the door slightly.
She peered in. "Is this the place?"
"Depends? What place are you looking for?"
(Dam gtg)
"A secret meeting place for people."
(alright bye!)
"That's pretty vague, but I think you're at the right place." Fynn said quietly, shutting the door behind the girl.
(False alarm Ma got it wrong. I'm back!)
(Also, how much information does she have before hand about the meeting?)
Hebe slipped up to the door and hesitated there, not sure what to do. Should she knock? Should she turn around and leave? After a moment, she quietly knocked on the door.
(not much, just that it's a rebellion against the government)
(K.)
Fynn jumped again, not used to this much socialization. He opened the door just a crack, not showing the deformed side of his face. "May I help you?"
"I…" she hesitated. "Is this, the, you know, place?" She awkwardly shuffled and lowered her eyes a little.
He raised an eyebrow. "You'll have to be more specific."
"Rebellion place?" She stumbled over her words, cursing herself for being so awkward around strangers.
Fynn nodded, letting the girl inside and shutting the door behind her.
Hebe warily flipped off her hood, revealing her patchy skin (vitiligo). She glanced around before choosing to remain standing a little off to the side.
"Hey, we've both got it." Artemis said, gesturing to Hebe before pointing to her own face.
She smiled a little, feeling better about herself. "Great, I'm not alone."
Fynn nodded after noticing the patches on both of the girl's face. Seeing that they were disfigured too made him trust them more.
She shuffled her feet and looked up after a moment. "Is there something specific we're doing right now?"
Fynn rocked back and forth on his heels. "Well…I wasn't expecting anyone today…"
