Alexa: I left the taxi, with my suitcases in hand, walking into the school. I didn't want to leave Greece, she loved her mothers and country but they had important things to do than take care of their daughter since the war was now over. Why did they even start this stupid war anyways? I shook the thoughts away and headed to my new room. When I opened the door no one was in there. The room was an okay size for two people. It had a one room with two full beds, a bathroom, and a small kitchen. I but my things down, made my bed, and something too eat. I sat on my bed and started listening to music while waiting for my roommate.
I walked into the hall of rooms. I had a small bag that held what little things I had. I didn't 'need' to be here, but I got food and shelter. So might as well stick for the learning too. From everything I had seen and heard, this place was supposed to be better than Mexico. There you were either dirt poor or richer than rich. There was no in between. And guess which one I fell into. Dirt poor, I looked at the paper and key the lady had given me. I searched the doors for the matching numbers.
Primitive.
That's the only word that could go through my head as I headed down the hall of my new school. I guess it was kind of quaint in it's rustic vibe, but even still… I immediately missed the vibranium and aesthetic of home. I decided to ignore that feeling and continue down the hall. I'd have to get used to it. I headed into my room and glanced around. It was smaller than I was used to. Two beds, bunked, a bathroom, and two desks. Nothing special. At least there was a window.
(Its ten of us total if anyone was wondering so we should have at least 5 dorm rooms)
I fumble with my pale fingers, my eyes darting around with fear. Glitch barks at my side and I ease slightly, smiling at my companion. "I'm sure today will be fine." I say quietly. "Nothing to fear… Except for everything…." I say as an after thought.
(ima do mine 3rd person k)
Cassidy looked up at the huge school, twisting up her face in anticipation. She wasn't scared, oh no, just curious. Nothing on her back, she ran up the steps two at a time, swishing her electric hair past the stone columns.
I was getting bored had nothing to do in the room so I decided to go into a common room of some sort to meet some people
(Oh wait can I not do third person oopsies didn't see)
This is amazing! I thought to myself, advancing up the stone steps. I, Cassidy The Sick Girl, had never even seen something this grand, unless it was in ruins, of course, let alone been near one. This was a dream come true. No more sleeping on concrete. No more eating moldy, dirty peelings. No more getting pneumonia seventeen times in one winter. Not anymore! Personal dorms, good food, and education - things that, during the war, I hadn't even hoped to dream of.

(that's what she said I believe, we may want to check though, you're right.)
I'm breathing in the air of school - something I've smelled coming off the tier three's and four's, but never myself - when a tall body bumps into me. I look up down to see a girl with dark hair, a messy bun, and tight cobalt jeans. I shake my own faded, baggy ones self-counciously.
"Oh - uh - hi. Have you ever been to school before?" I mentally facepalm. She's dressed so well nicely, of course she has.
Yay! I thought sarcasitically. Another year at the school my parents sent me to spend time with 'commoners'. If only they knew I'd give it all up to experience life normally. "Elizabeth!" My mother's voice cut through my thoughts. "Good bye. Have fun. Don't catch anything of the lowly."
"Yes, Mother," I smile sweetly, her not knowing that I was lying through my teeth. The limo drives off and as I turn around to see a girl with orange and yellow hair.
I stare down at this girl, then watch what was supposedly her limousine drive off. I shift uncomfortably, then steel myself again. "Sorry to get in your way, my name's Cassidy. You can kind of tell I'm dirt poor," I chuckle a little bit, "So I'll just get out of your way."
(who's she talking to, quick question)
(you and also pause dat til tomorrow if you may? I gtg sorry but school just started)
(oh ok i was just checking. and ill reply cause otherwise ill forget but you dont have to reply til you want to)
"No!" I say to stop her from going. "Please don't go. Yes, I have been to school here before. No, I hate it. And I don't care if you're dirt poor. Even if my parents would. But I have different views to them and I'll change the way they rule. I'm Eliza," I ramble on. Then I realise I hadn't introduced myself and did so, sticking out my hand.
