Blake shoved off the debris coating her and stood up. Nothing seemed broken. She looked around. It was indeed her ship that was blowing smoke around. What was left of it was in flames, obviously wrecked beyond repair. She heard a groan. Two other survivors of the crash were nearby, both aliens.
(Yes, they are all speaking the universal language)
Zanha looked around for a sign of anyone. She heard a groan. A survivor or a native? She tried to move her arm again, this time trying to use her other arm to push up against it. It wouldn't budge. She didn't want to call for help just yet though. She tried to move the piece underneath but when that shifted it just caused the piece on her arm to crush her arm further. She cried out in pain. "Augg!" She groaned.
Blake looked up at another, more pained groan. It seemed to come from inside the ship. She approached the wreckage warily, glass crunching beneath her feet.
Ajax followed the sounds of other's moving about. Seems they had all survived a wild crash. Perhaps they would know more about where they were and how in the ten hells he got on this ship. He barely remembered his own name. Coming around a curve he noticed a rather small looking girl trapped under a piece of debris. "Uh–Hullo." He said carefully.
Zahna flinched when she heard a voice. She looked around for the person it came from her eyes eventually resting on a tall man with white hair. If she was standing up he would of been a little taller than twice her height. Was this native? Or was this one of her ship mates? He looked like he could rip her in half if he wanted to. "H-Hi?" She said looking at him. This was bad situation. If he tried to hurt her she couldn't even run. She started to shake slightly.
Ajax took a few steps closer, unsure really of what to do. He hoped that if he helped her she would not attack him, he didn't have any of his weapons to properly defend himself. Nor was he really a fan of hurting women. "Do you need help?" He finally asked, settling on not being an asshole for once.
Blake rounded the ship and came across a short girl pinned underneath half of a wingtip. Another survivor, tall with white hair, was talking to her. Blake approached them silently.
Sensing another approaching behind him, Ajax spun, going for a weapon that was not in his holster. He cursed silently, holding up his hand for the woman to see. "Hey–Hey now. No need to sneak up on people." He muttered, glancing between the girls.
Blake smiled slightly. "I'm guessing you need help," she said to the girl, glancing at the tall man.
Zanha looked at the man and women and nodded. "Y-Yes. I-I could use some h-help." She said. She tried to pull on her arm, showing that it was stuck. "D-Did you get here from the ship too?" She asked.
"Apparently." Ajax said, frowning as he lifted the heavy piece of debris off the girl with ease. "Before that…I don't really have a memory of…" He trailed off, pulling the girl to her feet.
Zanha felt the pressure come off her arm. She yelped as she was pulled to her feet. "T-Thank you." She said to the man. She was still terrified of him. He looked like he was pulled straight out of a crime movie. Not to mention he was twice her height. "D-Do you know where we are?" She asked.
"Not a clue." Ajax said, dropping the debris and running a hand through his wild white hair. "Is this your ship?" He asked the other woman, wondering if maybe he stowed away on it and she may know where they were.
Blake shook her head slowly, trying not to freak out over the empty pit in her mind. She sidled over to some shade and dropped down. She looked up at the sun again. It was the only thing in the sky; no moons or asteroids or ships or anything. She realized she was incredibly hungry, almost too weak to stand up again. "We need to find food and water…" Blake finally said. "I don't know how long a day is here, but judging by how hot it is now, it's going to get really cold at night, and we need to be somewhere safe by then."
Zanha nodded her head. This sun was blinding her. On her home planet the sun was much farther away, hence why her eyes were full black. Her pupils needed to be that big. "I kinda hope the sun goes down soon," She said.
Ajax puffed a lungful of air out of his chest in exasperation. "What in the ten hells happened?" He muttered to himself. Moving up and out of the debris he got a look of the outside world finally. They had crashed down into a large forest with trees the size of buildings. "Well…It shouldn't be be hard to find food and water here." He said to the women.
Blake nodded and finally stuck out her hand. "Blake Aris."
"Ajax Corcaynian." Ajax said, nodding to Blake, he looked at her hand curiously. "What are you doing?"
"Fanning myself," Blake replied sarcastically. "It's a greeting." She took it back.
Ajax's cheekbones darkened in embarrassment. "I see…We-we don't do that on my world." He said awkwardly, looking away. Nice job, Corcaynian. You idiot.
Zanha watched Blake and Ajax's introduction. "We don't do that on my world either." She said, in an effort to make Ajax seem less embarrassed.
"Then what do you do?" Blake gave them a strange look. "Actually fan yourself or something?"
"On my home planet we do this." She said as she walked over to Blake and put her hand on Blake's shoulder. She took Blake's hand and put it on her shoulder so that their arms ran along each other.
Ajax surveyed the women, looking annoyed. "We greet each other with a weapon to the face where I'm from." He said stiffly, lying through his teeth. He wanted to leave. Who knew what was out there gunning for the crash site since the fire seemed to be a mighty distracting thing. He needed to get to shelter. Quickly.
