Eventually, kiki falls asleep snuggled into him.

He smiles, summoning a small fluffy blanket for her and resting it over her.

The tiny girl squeaks softly, snuggling closer.

After he knew she was asleep and relaxed, he fell asleep as well, holding her close and protecting her.

After a while, Kiki woke up with a jump. She looked around, dazed.

Toni was sitting there, gently holding her. He was awake and waiting for some news on Yui.

Kiki rubs her eyes and looks up at him.

Toni notices she's awake and gently pats her back.

“Where’s Yui…?” She whispers.

"The nice people are helping them.." He mumbles to her with a soft smile.

Kiki sniffles and leans into him. “Will she be ok?”

He nods and gives her a little kiss on the forehead.

She squeaks softly and nuzzles close to his chest. “Ok…”

After a few minutes, a nurse came out and explained Yui's condition. They did surgery on them to help their back and leg.

Kiki whimpers. “Are they ok?”

The nurse smiles, nods, and offers to take her to Yui's room.

She looks at Toni, clinging to him. “Can we see her?”

He nods and gets up, gently carrying her on his side.

She nuzzles close, whimpering.

As the nurse opened the door, he saw Yui lying in the bed. They had some bandages around their wings along with a cast around their leg and back. They were still drowsy from the anesthetic.

Kiki reaches for them, pouting.

Yui looked at her and smiled. They hold out an arm for her, offering to hold her hand. "Hiya, beanie.."

She takes their hand, whimpering as she hugs it. “I’m sorry!”

Yui chuckles a little as she hugs their hand. "Hey, it's okay. It wasn't your fault, little one.."

“But you got hurt…” She whines, pouting. “It scared me…I thought…I thought you were…” She starts crying, hiding her face.
