So, I am writing about a world with gods and goddesses. The important ones now are the sun god and moon goddess. In my story I have their individual worshipers go to war but I need a reason that isn't too cliche. Any ideas?
- ideology (is not that cliche, may make sense for your situation if the conflict hits a breaking point)
- one side is oppressing the other
- Sides are geographically divided and one side refuses to share vital resources
- One side currently has more political power and puts in some policies against the other side
