Immediately the monster was pinned. It struggled to stand and was unable to, it's head held at an awkward angle so as to prevent it from using it's death breathe.
"Cut him to ribbons, someone." Haskel screamed. "Those won't hold him for long!"
Tyson descended from the sky and collapsed on the ground. Flying was perhaps the most mana taxing magic that he had. His mana reserves were practically empty. Tyson drew himself up and began to stagger over to the group that surrounded the dragon.
Hazel aimed a spell, hoping she didn't miss.
Paige heard the blonde boy loud and clear and with a powerful beat of her wings she was suddenly speeding towards the dragon. Her longsword was once again glowing in bright white light as she channelled her angelic energy into the sword causing it to hum slightly with the energy dancing across it. Her sword tore through the confined dragon's flesh with easy and turning swiftly in the air she shot once again. Paige repeated this, till the dragon truly was being cut into ribbons.
"Very well." The Demon Lord said.
(Sorry, I was waiting to see if anyone else wanted to take the shot since I had a few times already)
Magnus grasped his hands onto his swords engulfing them in flames. As he closed in he leapt into the air by sending a burst of flame to his feet propeling him in the hair he started spinning continuously making him extremely dizzy but he still continued as he neared the dragons flesh he cut it like shredding paper with a paper shredder but the paper was a 40 foot dragon with scales and wings and a very annoying tail. After he landed back on the ground and falling on the ground
Paige landed on the ground, taking care to avoid the large pools of blood everywhere. This time satisfied that the dragon was for once and all dead. She turned to survey the strange group of people around her.
(So is the dragon actually going to stay dead this time?)
Kit took a few steps back as it’s blood trickled his way. He kind of felt ashamed he hadn’t helped, but there wasn’t much he could do. He surveyed the area, to his knowledge, no one had died, but a few seemed injured. Kit had been trotting around the whole fight, trying to save the others.
Kit looked at the peculiar group that had fought the dragon, were they friends?
(lol, no more extra heads)
Riverpaw cringed at the sight and hid her face in Tsunami's thick fur. "Gross, gross, so gross." She mumbled, pulling Tsunami away from the blood. The White Wolf had no problem with any of it, but she had to agree. This was a bit much. Did the Ancestors know about these strange people?
(I wholeheartedly agree to no more extra heads, this dragon can stay dead)
"Is the blood still moving?" Haskel asked.
"So…" Paige began, "who are you guys?"
Without knowing who they were she had kind of began to work with them.
" Me I'm the person you guy's ignored continuously" Magnus said totally not annoyed
"I'm just a traveller and a mercenary." Haskel said, watching the blood stop moving.
"It's dead." Good riddwnce.
Paige stared at her sword with a frown, it still had the dragons blood covering it. Muttering in annoyance she, kept it in her hands. She will have to clean it before sheathing it again. Her wings were now no where in sight and the previous glow around her had also disappeared.
She rolled her eyes at the guy who kept rushing in, "We didn't ignore you, at least not all the time. Next time try not to rush in, if there ever is a next time."
"W-we're Forest Guardians." Riverpaw said quietly, motioning to herself and Tsunami. "A-and..I'm not sure w-why we were sent here."
Paige turned to the blonde boy with a raised eye brow, "For a mercenary and traveller, you can summon demons incredibly well," something was definitely not right about him, "A bit too well. "
Paige smiled at the young girl and her beautiful wolf, "I'm not sure how any of us ended up all being here either."
"This group is rather peculiar." Haskel said, searching his daggers, which were fluid-free thank Yasthith.
The town was now empty and the area around them completely destroyed. All that remained were the strangers who stared at one another with curiousity.
Paige was lost on what to do or say. One thing was sure, she didn't trust any of them. Not yet.
