"Nothing…why?"
"Nothing…why?"
"You keep looking around like you're an insecure person looking to escape." Magnus answered to her.
Rolling her eyes Paige replied, "Maybe I am looking to escape?"
"So you're a little coward looking to do nothing but hide away okay fine by me." Magnus spoke with a slight smirk
Tsunami's ears flicked, and she narrowed her eyes at Magnus. She didn't appreciate such taunting, even if it wasn't toward herself, but she wouldn't say anything.
"Quit being childish, I'm not looking for a fight. If i were a coward I wouldn't be joining you tomorrow morning." Paige said firmly to Magnus. She was slightly, very slightly, annoyed at being called a coward after everything. Enough so that she decided to leave the group to make her way towards the well. Her sword was more important right now.
"Sure whatever it's fine by me" Magnus said.
Paige pulled up a now filled bucket of water from the well and began cleaning her sword. She kept an eye on the group in case something else was to happen but focused mainly on the task at hand. It didn't take long to see the shining blade and the engraved ancient writing that had been blanketed by the dragon's thick blood which hadn't yet dried up. The same blood lay in pools across the village making her wonder if they really could do anything to help the village before the left on their journey.
Tsunami lied on the ground, facing the forest and avoiding any blood, and Riverpaw climbed up onto her back to sit as well. She looked up at the trees and whistled a tune similar to bird call. A few moments later, a multicolored hawk came flying down, landing in front of Tsunami and bowing it's head courtly. The White Wolf bowed her head in return, and Riverpaw scooted up to see the bird better. "Hello, Baji. We need you to tell your side of the forest that Tsunami and I will be gone for a while. W-we're..going on an outside journey."
The hawk made a few surprised and worried noises, then looked at Tsunami, who gave a confirming nod. The hawk looked back up at Riverpaw, tilting his head. "We'll be home later tonight, to check on everyone, b-but we leave tomorrow morning. I-I don't know when we'll be back, but we'll be okay. Just please make sure everyone is safe a-and not panicked."
The hawk took a step back, nodding once more, then turned and took off toward the forest.
"where are you all embarking off to?"
Paige watched the hawk appear and after a few minutes disappear. There wasn't anyone she had to go comfort and nor was there anything she had to go collect so she was left with once again, nothing to do. Standing up she made her way to the group, "We still have plenty of hours will nightfall, even more hours till tomorrow morning. I already have everything I need, except for food and water. The mess in this village is as much our fault as it is the dragon's, so is there anyway to fix all of this," she motioned to the rubble and blood lying around them, "before we set out?"
" also why are you all embarking on a journey" he asked
"Oh, we are journeying to Smokehaven, a village somewhere across the mountains. A sorcerer has asked all of us to come there. I believe the person that brought his message said that the sorcerer had something to give us or tell us."
"i was sent to find a sorcerer in Smokehaven too, may i travel with you to Smokehaven" he asked
"this sorcerer has something of mine." he said rolling his neck
“Hello.” Axel said
(Nice timing, I just got off work.)
"hello" nyx responded to the newcomer
Haskel summoned a scourge of demons, crawling things, and the like who came marauding through the streets, to stand in front of him.
"I want you all to help the villagers with anything else they might need." He called, sending them scattering every which way.
"hm is that your magic? controling demons?"
"That isn't half of what I can achieve." Haskel said.
"intresting"he said taking note of this
Riverpaw whimpered at the demons suddenly running around, keeping her head down as Tsunami narrowed her eyes cautiously.
Paige looked around helplessly not quite sure what she could do to help. As much as she wanted to, there didn't really seem to be anything she could do.
"I'm heading to help the villager's with anything perhaps help them scavenge any useful things." Magnus said walking off waving his hand slightly.
