When you die, you go to Star Haven. Star Haven is quite literally a haven in the stars. You lose the power you received when you were born. You have no family unless they’ve already died. You have no power – literal or physical. Basically, it’s like life on Earth, except you’re dead. Star Haven is ruled by the ‘Zodiacs’. That’s not their real titles, but it’s what everyone calls them. Every 100 years, 40 teens are ‘chosen’ to be the next Zodiacs. Over the course of 4 months and 4 trials. Then they are narrowed down to 2 teens, who then go on to be a Zodiac.
This takes place in 3492, just before the last trial, the Song Trial. There’s 10 people left, and our characters are two of them. They are in love.

-Please no links (unless described after). Proper descriptions like: Mid length dark brown hair with a few lighter highlights; Blue eyes with a splash of amber that make them look like paint has been dropped on them, not shaggy brown hair, green eyes, pale skin. Be descriptive. This also applies for style, however it does not have to be as descriptive.
-PROPER GRAMMAR IS COMPULSORY AND NOT AN OPTION.

-In the future so you can use new technology.
Uh so also, when they are ‘chosen’, they get like this marking on their face that is distinct to one person, and their hair changes colour. The markings are different sizes and colours. The bigger the marking, the bigger the chance that they will become one of the two new Zodiacs. They also receive an item when they first arrive in the Zodiac Gardens of Star Haven.
On top of these things, they get a 'spirit animal' that will appear when they are needed most. The 'spirit animal' is the one thing they get to keep.
If they fail a trial, their marking disappears and their hair returns to normal. Their item is also taken away from them.

There’s Damian (19), her twin Nathaniel “Nate” who is a few minutes younger than her (17), Markus (14) and Richard “Richie” (11).
Mia’s relationship with her mother was extremely close, Sienna being the only other female in a house of 5 boys. Mia and Sienna used to always watch old movies and eat popcorn. They’re many of her best memories. One night about 2 years ago, Sienna was bringing Nate home from soccer practice for family dinner. Unfortunately, Sienna and Nate were caught in a car crash. Neither of them made it. Mia was so upset about it that she couldn’t be consoled for 3 months. Watching old movies makes her feel like her mother is still with her. Her brothers and dad think that she’s weird for loving them so much, but know how they make her feel, so they leave her alone.
'Spirit Animal': A vixen (female fox) named Vixenne. Vixenne is extremely loyal to Mia and often visits more than she should.
Power: Mind control. Over the years, she has gotten stronger and can put thoughts into other people’s minds without saying it out loud. She used to never be able to touch people, as she could see one of their memories that shouldn’t have been seen. She can touch people without seeing their memories now. She only does it if they wish her too or if she needs to show them something. If she’s stressed she can do it by accident though.
