When darkness overtakes the light, and day gives way to endless night, a world of shadow will appear and every hope shall fade to fear.
Thousands of years ago, the Guardian of Light and the Guardian of Darkness were the closest of friends. But the Guardian of Darkness wanted more. She rose up and tried to defeat the Guardian of Light, but she was unsuccessful. In consequence, the Guardian of Light cast her into the Shadow Lands to live out the rest of her eternity. And there she has stayed. Until now.
About 2 months ago, an amulet was passed from a dying woman to her granddaughter. On a walk in the garden, the granddaughter discovered that the amulet opened a portal to another world. A world with magic and elves. Upon entering this world, the granddaughter became friends with four elves of the different elements. With the portal closed, they embarked on a quest to find the four keys needed to open the portal back. Finding the keys, they arrived at the castle that housed the portal. After opening it, the granddaughter went home, and promised to return.
Receiving a nightmare from the amulet, the granddaughter rushed to Athenia to inform the elves. They head out to find the Guardian of Light. When they find her, they have to bond with the Elemental Guardian of their element and find the Element Weapon of their element in order to defeat the Guardian of Darkness.

-Don't make it all about your character. It frustrates me when people make it about themselves.

-Please no links (unless described after). Proper descriptions like: Mid length dark brown hair with a few lighter highlights; Blue eyes with a splash of amber that make them look like paint has been dropped on them, not shaggy brown hair, green eyes, pale skin. Be descriptive. This also applies for style, however it does not have to be as descriptive.
-If a character spot is taken, do not ask for it.

SPOTS
Chantelle West-Hallows - @MaddieHatter. Chantelle is the human who received the amulet from her grandmother. She sees visions of trouble in Athenia and goes through the portal on a weekly basis. She is kind, brave, strong-hearted, clumsy and a peacemaker.
Azari Firedancer – @@MidnightWarrior!Venom. Azari is the fire elf that Chantelle first meets when she arrives in Athenia. She is bold, outgoing, impulsive, hot-tempered, considerate and loyal.
Farran Leafshade – FREE. Farran is the earth elf that is excited when he first meets Chantelle, nicknaming her ‘Little Ears’ due to her rounded and not pointed ears. He is logical, loyal, down-to-earth, pays attention to detail and bursts into long motivational speeches that most people ignore.
Reef Rivershade – @Bandito. Reef is the slightly shy and reserved water elf who was in possession of the map when Chantelle first came to Athenia. He is reserved, has slight stage fright, is uncomfortable dancing in front of people and will let loose when convinced.
Aira Windwhister – FREE. Aira is the free spirited wind elf with a fondness for inventions. She is a terrible singer, aloof, good-natured, slightly air-headed and surprisingly adventurous.
Faylinn Goldenbow – @Qxeenscryche. Faylinn is both the Guardian of Light and the Protector of the Elemental Guardians. She is calm, collected, good-hearted, humble, peaceful and has a strong desire to protect Athenia. She has the ability to shapeshift into either a fox or an eagle that are the same size as the Guardians.
Navaeh Darkshadow – FREE. Navaeh is the Guardian of Darkness and pure evil. She is vindictive, pleasures in other people’s sufferings and delights in wreaking havoc. She discovered that if she takes the Elemental Guardians’ magic, she will become all powerful and able to rule over Athenia. She has the ability to shapeshift into a large vampire bat the same size as the Guardians.
The Elemental Guardians are immortal beings who provide magic to the residents of Athenia. The jewels on their foreheads hold all the magic of their element, and without them, the elves of their element are powerless. They rarely bond with elves, but have in times of dire need. The Guardians are larger than the average version of their animal, and are slightly taller than your average elf.
Rowan the Guardian Fire Lion – Rowan is the second youngest of the Guardians, before Liska. He is a creature of strength rather than words. If he has a plan, he is patient and waits for it to act out.
Liska the Guardian Earth Fox – Liska is the youngest of the Guardians, after Rowan. She is confident, charismatic, friendly and very chill.
Cory the Guardian Water Turtle – Cory is the eldest of the Guardians, before Cyclo. She is wise, but can be relentless, stubborn and demanding due to her thinking that everyone has the same years of experience as her. She has little patience to those who appear too naïve or forgiving.
Cyclo the Guardian Wind Dragon – Cyclo is the second eldest of the Guardians, after Cory. He is calm, loving, patient, kind and soft-spoken.
The Elemental Weapons are weapons that an elf can use in order to increase their power by channelling it.
The Volcano Hammer is the weapon of fire. It grants the wielder the ability to create small volcanoes arise from the ground and spew lava.
The Quake Shield is the weapon of earth. It grants the wielder the ability to create minor earthquakes or cracks in the ground for their enemy to be lost to.
The Monsoon Staff is the weapon of water. It grants the wielder the ability to create small floods or monsoons to drown their enemy.
The Cyclone Bow is the weapon of wind. It grants the wielder the ability to shoot arrows that can create cyclones to take away their enemies.

There is an Athenian native language, although they do speak English (where they got it from, I don’t know). The language is Scottish Gaelic in pronunciation, but Hebrew in characters. If you are to use the language, please just put in brackets what they translate to before you post your reply)
