Quebec, who was reading a book, noticed a corner of a gold envelope peeking through under his door. He pulled the envelope out from under his door and opened it neatly using a rather sharp knife in his kitchen. He held the rectangular shaped container in his hand and sat down with his book closed. He looked inside, taking out the items one by one before examining clearly on his table. Quebec inspected the glittering badge, seeing his reflection on it, before reading through the letter carefully. "Finally, something interesting"
From Luna’s house, she would spot a figure outside her window. They were not faraway. There was something worth noting about the figure. There was a symbol on the figure’s metallic gloves; the same symbol as the one on the letter. They were in a closed headgear so Luna couldn’t see their face.
Their armor was silver colored with blue cuts and corners. They also had a pair of wings. Beside their headgear was a small horse head like symbol. Before Luna could have taken a better look at them, they took off.
Outside Luc’s place, a silver armored figure can be spotted. They had a headgear with a swan as the main jewel of the accessory. Their armor seemed light and was most definitely easy to maneuver in. Their were… snowflakes around the figure or so they appeared to be. The figure soon walked out of Luc’s sight and at quite a fast rate as well.
Luc gave another sigh before grabbing his bag and running after the man, he just needed to get close enough to emit his truth serum into the air. "Hey!" He panted, finally close enough. "Who are you?"
The figure turned to the call and touched their headgear, lowering it back into the armor. Their chocolate brown hair, lapis eyes, marshmallow colored skin, and white glasses were revealed.
“Hm? I go by the name of Cygnus, I am a Knight of General Frensa of the Selas kingdom” the figure answered calmly as the snowflakes around them disappeared.
"Oh good, I thought you were a bandit or something." Luc sighed, hands on his knees as he took deep breaths. He was an academics dude, he can't run for shit.
The Knight eyed Luc.
“Correct me if I’m wrong, are you the one who General Syzen chose as the wielder of Aries?” Cygnus asked, raising a brow.
Luna rushed back into her house, grabbing a bag and shoving things in before running back out. Oh my god oh my god-
"I only remember about three words from the letter, but yeah, I am." Luc gave a thumbs up to the Knight.
The figure that flied away earlier landed in front of Luna softly and took off their headgear.
“Hi!” The figure smiled cheerly at her. They had coal black and straight hair, amber colored eyes, and tanned skin.
Cygnus nodded and tapped his chin.
“In that case, please pack your belongings, only those you need and follow me. I will take you to the Kingdom” he claimed with blank eyes.
Luna skidded to a stop, stumbling. "Hello?" She said, tilting her head. Long brown waves fell into her face, and she brushed them away. "I'm sorry, but I have to get somewhere-"
Luc shrugged and nodded. "Alrighty, my house is just back here." He pointed to the visible garden wall before he started to walk back to it. He just needed his books and some pens then clothes, he supposed.
“To Selas perhaps?” The figure asked, raising a brow and giving her a teasing smile. His metallic wings waved a bit.
Cygnus nodded and leaned against a tree that was near him. He touched the tree and froze parts of it. Sighing, he continued to lean on it.
"How-" Luna started before shaking her head. "Yes, I am."
Luc came around a few minutes later, lugging a large bag behind him. Outlines of books and things like that were around the edges.
The figure shrugged with a smile. He offered Luna his hand.
“Want a fast travel?” He asked with a grin as his wings fluttered.
Cygnus stood up straight and readjusted himself. He started to walk in a specific direction with his hands behind his back.
"Guess I'm following you." Luc muttered, hefting the bag over his shoulder with a grunt and followed the knight.
“Need help with the belongings…?” The Cygnus knight asked without turning back. Small snowflakes appeared around the knight and just floated around him.
"Nope, I can handle it."
Luc was, to say, not handling it very well, but at least he wasn't falling over or tripping whenever he took a step.
Cygnus nodded as he continued to walk.
“Alright” he sighed. They were not extremely faraway from the kingdom now.
“General Syzen might be surprised by your presence. You will most likely be the first to arrive”
(AAH FRICK MY DUDE UMMMM)
Xara looked around uncertainly. "Er… yes, I do," she told him, nodding. "How did - nevermind. I've no money, though."
"So, could you tell me what this is all about?" Luc asked, maybe, just maybe, still having his serum in the air around them.
Name: Lata Aylen
Age (19-25): 20
Gender / Sexuality: Female, Bisexual
Personal Magic: Balanced Mirage
These are strong illusions for her age that can range from a simple flower to something as large as a tree. However, the larger the illusion is, the more power it takes. If pushed too far, it steals from her physical strength. How much the illusion is supposed to move and how realistic it must be plays a part as well.
Zodiac Sign: Libra
Likes: Reading, cats, tea, drawing, climbing trees, teasing people
Dislikes: People who are irritating, large egos, being alone
Lata drew in the air with her magic, illusions creating lines floating in the sky. It was then that a single letter was dropped into the grass beside her. Letting her magic fall, the girl took a look at the person who tossed her the envelope. However, whoever it was had disappeared already. Perhaps a teleportation spell. She hardly had any family who would write to her, so Lata was confused at the sudden mail. It was a shimmering golden tone as well. Didn't you have to be crazy rich to send golden paper? She was careful with the sealed flap, trying not to rip it. Unfortunately, that is exactly what happened. Fancy envelope now ruined, the teen pulled out the message and nearly laughed in shock. There was no way that she would be chosen for such a big job. Heck, her magic wasn't for combat! And now she was supposed to change the kingdom forever? Flopping back into the grass, Lata stared at the badge in her other hand. Eventually she lowered her arm and fastened it to her jacket. It was an honor that you had to be stupid to pass up. Even if she didn't see herself worthy of such an invitation.
Luna nodded, smiling gently. "Thank you." She said, taking his hand.
