"Ya got any… Any powers to get there faster?"
Quebec followed after Matthew as he glanced at the wooden platform which was hard to spot

The female giggled softly.
“It’s nice seeing you here, despite what’s going on everywhere right now” she set her documents down.
“Phastia is not looking good right now and we’re trying our best to help it…” she turned to the feminine figure beside Luc “…it’d be great if Selas decided to help too”
Phoenix nodded slowly with the documents up to her face. She then started to pace out of the library at quite a fast speed.

Luc gave a cold laugh. "If it was nice to see me, you wouldn't have ended our families alliance and shunned us." He growled, hands clenched at his side.

@Simon-Says

Xara raised an eyebrow uncomfortably and picked up her book to find a different chair to read in. If she wasn't extremely passive-aggressive, she would've asked them to take it outside; instead she found a chair in the corner and sat down frustratedly.

Syzen nodded and gestured deeper into the halls.
“Right hall of the second corridor, that’s where Frensa should be in, the room at the end of the hall as well” he mentioned.
“I was given only the names so I do apologize”

He then turned to Libra.
“Also, to answer your question, the reason you were called here was that one of the other generals, namely Indas, decided to betray the kingdom and build his own alliance of knights. These knights of his, three of them at least, have been coming back into Selas on a daily basis. So that was what she came across, one of them named Papillon

Lata nodded, trying to fit all the pieces together having been given many all at once. Is this was the letter meant by changing the world for the better? Fighting the growing army? It made sense, but the girl wondered if she was really fit for war. That was probably why Selas suggested she train. "This makes me wish my ability was physical even more now," she thought aloud.

"Him and his damn butterflies. Butterflies! Of all the things to choose, the insect that will eat anything it can fit into it's mouth. Oh yeah, you all thought butterflies drank nectar, no they do not. They will literally eat anything that they can fit into their mouths. Granted they don't have very big mouths, so we don't ever have to worry about them. But seriously, I would rather fight spiders that are twice my size," Cat grumbled. Then she looked at the other girl in the room. "I'm sorry, I'm just straight up not having a good time."

She then returned the other knight's look. "That's understandable. Pretty sure no one would expect anything too bad on the first day," Lata attempted to say to comfort the other.

@Echo_6 group

"I'm Cat by the way," Cat said as Plag jumped up onto her shoulders again. "And this is my… cat… His name is Plag." Plag purred and bumped his head to Cat's face.

@Painted-Iris group

The young girl walked over to Cat and held out her hand. "Lata. Nice to meet you," she greeted back with a sharp grin. As everyone else probably did, she found it ironic that Cat had a cat. She was curious if it was short for something or if the girl really was named after the house pet. That really shouldn't matter though. Not even 10 minutes in the castle and she already had a friend. Or was ally a better word?

@Painted-Iris group

Lata thanked her lucky stars that she wasn't allergic to cats as she reached out to pat Plag on the head. "I really only just got here," she started, turning back to Syzen, feeling a bit uncharacteristically embarrassed for ignoring the fact he likely still had things to tell her. "It's due to your star symbol on your armor. It's like a codename is what I'm guessing. Meaning I'd be Libra."

@Echo_6 group

"Well, I have to fix whatever the armor is that this man gave to me because none of it will work for archery. And if it's all the same to everyone else, I much prefer to be called Cat. And I'm gonna get this out of the way before someone asks. Yes my full name is Cat, I probably had a longer name but I've lived alone long enough to not need to use it so it just sorta disappeared and I go by Cat. There is a reason I refer to my partner as Plag and not my cat. That just gets confusing," Cat explained. "Well I'm gonna go give the person in charge a little piece of my mind about this whole thing." She turned to leave.

From outside the windows of Pasha’s room, there was a figure floating. The figure was in a black and white mage robe with gradients of orange and yellow along their lapels and helm. They also had birds wings with them; black ones to be specific. He knocked on the window.

A shiver ran down Pasha's spine upon hearing a knock on the window. He was on the second floor, what on earth could have been knocking? Placing the badge on the nearby coffee table, he slowly approached the window and threw the curtains opened. At first he was blinded, but as his eyes adjusted to the light, he began to make out the figure of… something. "What on earth are you?"

@CasiCasino group

Matthew smiled as his arm turned into wood and wrapped gently around Quebec’s body.
“Let’s go this way” his legs turned to wooden springs as he and the same-aged man into his arm jumped towards the platform.

The female closed her eyes and her documents.
“Somethings were done because of a higher priority, learn to be a sacrifice sometimes, it’d be beneficial for you in the future” she opened her eyes as red irises formed, scorching red were their colors.

Syzen was not really wanting to intrude the girls’ conversation so instead he just leaned there. He eyed Sagittarius once, then to Libra.
“As I’ve said, Frensa’s meeting room is in the right hall of the second corridor and for you…” he said to Cat before turning directly to Lata “…there is a field outside the entrance where you can get used to the armor itself and once you’re done, there’s a training field down the right exit of this corridor where you’ll be fighting one of Frensa’s knights” he gestured with every place he mentioned.

“Greetings mister Pasha, I go by the name of Tucana, pleasure to meet you” he bowed as his wings were fluttering.
“If everything was done and communicated correctly, you were given the Pisces badge, correct?” He asked, leaning forward a bit with his left hand behind his back and his right opening in such glee though his helm and visor hid the expression.

Pasha turned back to the coffee table, the badge sat atop it, glistening in the sunlight. He went over to pick it up, before he faced Tucana once again. "I assume this badge means I have been chosen for something?" After keeping himself seemingly oblivious to certain things for the majority of his life, Pasha was unaware if there was some meaning behind the badge and why it had been given to him.

@CasiCasino group

“You are on point good sir” the Tucana stated.
“You see, the celestial kingdom Selas is under a civil war as one of its three generals wanted to rebuild the kingdom and is now using his troops against the people in the kingdom. You, with that badge, were one of the twelve who were chosen by one of its sane generals, Syzen, to help claim the kingdom back while also getting something in return, something royal as well” he stressed the last part, making sure Pasha heard it and heard it well.

@The-Magician group

"Royal huh?" Pasha scoffed, staring at the badge in his hands. He shook his head slowly. "Myself and 'royal' do not fall under the same category. However, if the celestial kingdom is at war then I shall do my part even if I claim nothing from it." he attached the badge to his open waistcoat, rolling up his shirt sleeves. "Well then, shall we make a move? Lead the way oh great Tucana." There was a heavy emphasis on the being's name, like he was making sure it could be heard clearly.

@ADog

"Hey.. Hey-Hey! You know I can't deal with heights!" Quebec gripped tightly and shut his mouth when they were in the air. He closed his eyes and breathed heavily.

"Hm, not if you want Candorin and your kingdom to ever work together." Luc turned back on his heel and left. "Goodbye your highness." He growled as he walked out the door.

@CasiCasino group

“If you are ready than shall it be” Tucana grabbed onto Pasha’s wrists and pulled him from his window. Looking under him, a seat formed and Pasha was set gently on the seat as thin but strong chains were locked onto Tucana’s armor. They then started to fly towards the kingdom.

Matthew smirked.
“Come on, it’s not that high. Plus, you are in safe hands” with that, the two men reached the platform and Quebec was released from Matthew’s grasp.

The female smiled ‘genuinely’.
“No thanks, I don’t need a kingdom of savages to work with me” she ended, knowing Lucisan would just leave.

"Oh? Well you seem to work plenty fine with yourselves." He retorted, closing the door with a heavy slam. He was not looking forward to the questions the Phenix Knight would probably have.

@The-Magician group

Adrenaline kicked in almost immediately as soon as Tucana grabbed Pasha's wrists. At first he though he was going to fall, but when a seat appeared beneath him, he felt somewhat better. He stared at the chains, amazed that they were strong enough to hold him up while being attached to the other being's body, then released a heavy sigh as they flew towards the kingdom. "So what kind of creature are you, if you don't mind me asking?"

@ADog

"Don't ever do that again" Quebec raised his tone to remind the shopkeeper.
"Anyways with that aside, what was that power?" He was questioned. He didn't expect Scorpio to be related to wood or anything of that kind at all.

@CasiCasino group

Phoenix sighed.
“A local of Qiryu, an authority from Candorin?” She asked plainly, holding the documents in only one hand.

Tucana turned to Pasha before rising his visor and lowering his cloth mask that was covering the lower half of his face.
“Human such like you, strange right? These are artificial by the way” he giggled softly as the bird-like wings fluttered in rhythm to the wind.

Matthew chuckled before he stood up straight.
“Fine fine… also, that was my personal power” his arm turned back to normal before he glanced at the kingdom.
“Beautiful isn’t it?”

"Not from Qiryu, did study there though," Luc said as he visibly shuddered. "Ugh, hate lying." He muttered to himself. "Hi, I'm Lucasian Deparnt, eldest prince of Candorin." He introduced himself, he was surprised no one else had questioned his name, but then again, Candorin was shunned by most kingdoms.

@CasiCasino group

The Phoenix’s eyes widened.
“P-P-Prince?!” She seemed relatively shocked.
“Forgive me for my bad manners your royal highness!” she bowed, nervous in front of the royal she didn’t know was beside her all this time.

"There's no need for that!" Luc held up his hands, his face alarmed. His family was quite large, so everyone just called them by their names or last names. "Like I said before, please call me Luc."

@Painted-Iris group

Lata's eyes widened a moment at the rush of information, but decided she quite liked this person. Her expression switched back to a small smile. She then gave her attention back to the general, hearing him speak.

Syzen was not really wanting to intrude the girls’ conversation so instead he just leaned there. He eyed Sagittarius once, then to Libra.

The girl gave another nod before turning around, seeing Cat miraculously still in the room. "I guess I'll be seeing you, Cat," she said before leaving the room. Her steps seemed to be a bit unsure in the heavier armor. After leaving, the girl did notice the doorway just outside the room like she was told, and went through. The field was vast as to be expected, but it was impressive all the same. She let out a fascinated whistle, before taking a few more steps. The castle seemed to be bigger and bigger the more she got the chance to look around. "Question is, how the hell am I supposed to get used to this? And fight some well trained guard moments later…!"
