I’ve already started two creepypasta RPs before this, and I wanted to revive the theme. If you like writing horror or just generally like the creepypasta universe, feel free to ask to join. The only rules are:
- no controlling other people’s character without their permission
- no killing main characters or important NPCs without consent
- do not make your characters over powered or always dodge attacks because that’s no fun
- if you want to play an already established CP, ask first in case someone already claimed it
- sentences have to be a minimum of two medium sentences long
- please ask before joining and give an example of your writing from another RP you’ve done
- beginners are not recommended to start with this RP, as I want it to be well built and elaborate, so if you’re looking for a RP, please head over to the Beginner’s Lounge

May I join? I don't have any rp samples from this website, I'm a dm and I write podcasts, but haven't done lit roleplay in a while.
I'm not super familiar with the creepypasta stuff but I'd kind of like to be(just don't know where to start bc I've heard a lot of the fandom is…unsavory), would it be okay if I just kind of played a "normal" character that gets caught up in all the shenanigans? If you just want people who know about the characters then I totally understand
I should probably add that I RP quite a bit on here, if you need a sample then I'd be more than happy to give one.

Kim looked over at the girl next to her. She'd said something so disturbing, and yet her demeanor was so calm. Kim didn't want to believe her, but something about the girl made her question her doubts. Some of the tension in her shoulders gave way when the girl's stomach growled. "Why don't we focus on getting you something to eat first," she said. "Do you have a preference, or is anywhere good?" Kim wanted to help in whatever way she could, but knew that she probably shouldn't push the subject right away.
Ok, @Cowgirl_Cloudy so one normal person would be pretty fun to add to the mix, because all of the killers and monsters have a different view on weird and disgusting, so it would be pretty interesting to have their view as well. Also, your writing is great too. And I value competently in writing and working with other people above knowledge about the creepypasta universe, and if you play a normal character who has no clue what’s going on, it’ll be a good way to develop your understanding as you play along. You’re in! I’ll build character sheet profile in a minute.
And @WoodlandCryptid, as long as you have good writing skills (which you must if you both DM and write podcasts) you are welcome to join! Just tell me what you wanna play.

Proxy is correct, as long as we’re talking about being under a contract with Slenderman. There are other strong head honchos in the creepypasta world, but he’s the one with “proxies”.

Name: Malcom Rose
Nickname/killer-name: The Rose Knight
Gender: Male
Appearance: Malcom has starch white hair with what looks like silver mixed into it. His irises are a pale red and the whites of his eyes are almost pinkish, his eyelashes are also white (like his hair). He's a bit taller than average and stands at around 5'11. He has scars all over his body and multiple tattoos as well, he has a very noticeable rose silhouette tatt on the nape of his neck.
Casual clothing: A large white fleece sweater over a red button down, tucked into some black jeans. He wears a few bangles on his wrist and a stim necklace on his neck.
(If different) Killing outfit: A white tank top tucked into black shorts. He wears a red jacket and has a few places to hold weapons.
Personality: Malcom is usually your regular somewhat preppy teen, extroverted, a little bit on the mean side. However, that is pretty much all a lie, he's somewhat quiet and serious, other than when he's caught up in the exhilarating rush of a kill or something along those lines.
Weapons/Powers: Malcom usually uses a thin, iron rapier with a rose handle. He's trained in a lot of different weapons though.
Quirks: Not sure if this counts as a quirk, but he does stim. Usually just hand flappies and chewing, but he does occasionally have some vocal stims

Backstory: Malcom was trained for an organization called the Rose Guard since he was young, one day when he was training with some cousins, he fell through a mirror. He landed in what he dubbed the Mirror Realm, there was a war and Malcom joined. He soon switched sides due to the kingdom he was fighting for becoming corrupt, yadda yadda, more war, yadda yadda yadda, he got thrust through another mirror and ended up back home, the same age he was when he got yeeted into the realm. It wasn't great for mental health.

He's my favorite npc in my horror campaign and I wanted to see how he'd vibe in a cp setting

Appearance:
Casual clothing: Candy wears a green sweater underneath a wine-red cardigan, as well as black jeans and green high-top sneakers. She also wears a light green headband and accessorizes with a lighter purple scarf.
Personality: Candy is extremely curious and extremely stubborn. Getting her to back down is nearly impossible. She cares deeply for her friends and will stand by them no matter what. Between her curiosity, stubbornness, and the fact that she can be rather reckless if the safety or reputation of one of her friends is on the line, Candy tends to get herself into weird situations. She's pretty friendly unless she has a reason not to be, and gets excited very easily.
Weapons/Powers: Candy has no supernatural powers, but she does carry around a pocket knife that her friend gave her. It's more out of the fact that it has sentimental value than safety, and if it came down to it she probably wouldn't know how to use it effectively, but she has it.
Quirks: When she gets distracted, Candy will often hum to herself. Typically, it's either a catchy song she heard on the radio or a song from a game.
