Fleetpaw looked down at the ground as if ashamed that she was her parents only kit.
Kingfisher blanched at the mention of the kits. "How horrible! Their poor mother," He muttered.
Ravenpaw nodded solemnly. "Dappledfern and Shrewtail were devastated."
"Send them my condolenses." He bowed his head.
"I will. Thank you." She responded.
(oh you did sorry i couldn't find the post.)
(Post is right here)
Kingfisher blanched at the mention of the kits. "How horrible! Their poor mother," He muttered.
"Terrible indeed," Dewshine agreed, nodding.
As if to distract himself, Kingfisher started glancing around at cats and muttering quietly.
Ravenpaw imagined the two kits as she had seen them. Amberkit, a reddish-brown tom with pale brown spots, and Silkkit, a gray she-kit with darker markings. The two kits had never even opened their eyes.
(Bump?)
(Bump? Also I noticed that Ravenpaw is thinking about her dead younger sibs, and Dewshine seems to be oblivious to that fact even though she reads minds?)
(Oh, right. Thanks for reminding me. Ack, usually the problem with these large-scale group rps is that I tend to forget small important details about my character because then I have to find the page with my character sheet on it. I'll start drafting a reply as soon as possible. In addition, because you don't have a username I can @ you with, please check out this link, it's very important for everyone I'm rping with.)

Dewshine couldn't help but see the thoughts of… Ravenpaw, she thought? She instinctively flinched, and looked away, shaking her head and blinking, trying to clear her head of Ravenpaw's vivid imagination.
Kingfisher turned to Dewshine, his instincts kicking in. "Are you alright Dewshine?" He asked, his voice soft. His eyes narrowed ever so slightly for a split second as he faced her.
Ravenpaw looked up at the she-cat, glad to have something else to think about. "Dewshine?" She tilted her head questioningly.
She blinked and looked up at the two, replying, "I'm fine, yeah, aha I'm fine," having been jolted out of her thoughts.
"Alright." She responded, as cats started to gather around their leaders.
(Just going to say Gathering's over.)
(Oki, so what's gonna happen next?)
(Uh…improv…?)
As Ravenpaw walked back into the forest with Thunderclan. She glanced back, and saw Dewshine's brown tail disappearing into the greenery. She thought for a moment about how a few different times she had seen a strange flame colored tom outside the camp when she was a kit, but when she had gotten Dappledfern to come and look, he was gone.
(bump?)
Dewshine padded back to camp, her tail swishing. She still couldn't get Ravenpaw's vivid imagination out of her head, and she didn't like it. Maybe playing with the kits a little bit would help keep her mind off of darker subjects.
(oh right)
Kingfisher followed the leader back to camp silently. As soon as he entered the nursery, he was tackled from all directions by small shapes. "Kingfisher!" they all yelled. "Hey kittens." He purred. One of the queens looked up and said "I said they could stay up until you got back. Now kits, it's time to sleep."
Though she'd never admit it to the kits themselves, Dewshine did pick favorites, but she treated them all equally. Her favorite kit stirred almost as soon as he heard the soft rustle of her paws as she stood by the den opening. "Dew-dewshine?" he murmured, still half-asleep. Okay, more like three-quarters asleep, but he always looked forward to Dewshine's visits. "Yeah?" she replied. "Can we play now?"
Dewshine chuckled. "No, not now you silly kit. You need to go back to sleep, you're obviously not fully rested." She sighed a bit and lay down next to him, though.
Ravenpaw entered the camp, and headed toward the apprentices den. "Ravenpaw! How'd it go?" A red furred tom with black paws asked, padding up to her. "It was actually pretty great, Foxpaw." She replied, laying down in her nest. Foxpaw curled up in his nest, which was next to Ravenpaw's. "Did you talk to the other cats, or did you stick to Sparrowtwig like sap on a tree?" He said, playfully. "I didn't stick to anything! There were two cats I talked to who were very nice, unlike you." Ravenpaw retorted, joking. "Oh, come on. You don't mean that." Foxpaw commented, flicking her with his tail. "Yeah, I don't." She answered.
