[The group, minus River (for now), change into their FBI gear, and make their way to Cedar Rock Housing Complexes. Various police officers and news crews were in the vicinity. There was a group of onlookers nearby as well, curious to know what was going on.]
Dean: [Talking with one of the police officers. He can't help but to make a mental comparison of the officer’s face with that of Robin Williams; the two looked similar.]
Officer Robin Doubtfire: “Sorry Agent Hendrix, but you still haven’t told me the names of your partners.”
Dean: “That’s Agent Nicks.” [Indicates Sam.] "And that's Agent Rose" [Stops talking for a moment.] “…. Now could you tell us the names of the people that lived here?”
Officer Doubtfire: "And the other two?"
Dean: [Lets out a nervous chuckle.] "I'm afraid that I don't remember their names; they're rookies." ((Sorry, just didn't know what you'd want your alias/cover to be.))
Officer Doutfire: "Ah. Well… the people that lived here were an elderly woman by the name of Angie King and her daughter, Sandra.”
Sam: “Do you know if the deceased are them yet?”
Officer Doubtfire: “…. No, we’re still collecting bone fragments, and piecing them together."
Levi: “Was there anything strange; maybe the smell of rotten eggs?”
Officer Doubtfire: “As a matter of fact," [Surprised and confused.] "There was. There’s an overwhelming stench of rotten eggs in there.”
Levi: “Would it be alright if we took a look inside?”
Officer Doubtfire: “Of course you can! I don’t see why not. I mean you ARE FBI! Just put on some gloves, boot covers, and a filtration mask before going in!”
[The Winchesters make sure to do this before going inside the house, leaving the others outside to see what they can figure out. Inside the walls and ceiling are painted a brilliant crimson color. Workers were still busy gathering and collecting bone fragments.]
Dean: [Standing in the living room holding out an EMF detector. It spikes almost immediately. Realizes something.] (Damn, of course it’s going to light up, the power could still be on.) [Putting the EMF detector away, he looks above one of the door frames. Seeing something, he grabs it.]
Sam: [Was in a plain-looking bedroom looking under the bed and bedding when Dean walks in.]
Dean: “Sam, look what I found."
Sam: [Without looking.] “Hex bag?” [Stands up.]
Dean: “Yeah. How’d you know?"
Sam: “I found one as well.”
Levi: [Appears in the doorway.] “I found some sulfur above some windows.”
Dean: “Well, I think that we have enough info to know exactly what was behind this.”
Sam: [Agrees.]
[The Winchesters exit the apartment. stop to say thanks to Officer Doubtfire for his cooperation, and go back to the impala.]
Sam: [Gets into the car next to Dean, and closes the door.]
Levi: [Gets into the back.]
Sam: [Thinking outloud.] “It’s weird; sulfur and hex bags. Usually hex bags will keep demons out or act as a curse.” [Decides to open one of the hex bags.] “Baby bones, cat bones, herbs; the usual ingredients in these things, but the symbol on the outside is meant for protection.”
Dean: “That is confusing, even I have to admit it.”
[They start heading back to the Stardust Motel with the others following behind them. They all gather in one of the conjoined rooms that they checked into, and go over what they found out.]
((There'll be another part that will take some time for me to type up. I'll let ya'll know when the time comes for that!))
