[The image in the mirror shimmers as an image eventually starts to take shape. Replacing the reflection of Ivy is woman with dark auburn hair. She looks around, clearly confused by whats happened to her.]
Ivy: "I'm afraid much time, but first I have to ask. Do you know where you are?"
Ash:[she listened from the other room, but she wasn't able to hear much of what was going on so she gave up and started to zone out.]
Sandra: [Comes into focus. Looks at her surroundings.] "No…. Who are you?"
((Sorry, I went through a completly random case of depression; everything's good now though! Must be Winter-Blues.
((Don't worry I understand))
Ivy: "Who I am doesn't matter. What does matter is you telling us about your last moment."
((Ash is just zoning out right now, so you guys can keep moving on without her XD))
((Ash is just zoning out right now, so you guys can keep moving on without her XD))
Ok, let us know when you're ready to jump back in!
Sandra: [Confused.] "Last moment?" [She becomes silent for a bit, looking off to the side as if listening to something else.] "I was somewhere dark."
Levi: That don't seem right. I think she's remembering Hell.
Ivy: "No darling, I'm not asking about the void. I'm asking about the last thing you saw, the last thing you felt, your last breath, your last heart beat. This information is critical to saving others from the same fate." [She asked with an empathetic look on her face] "Please I know it's a lot, but we need you to remember."
Sandra: "Last heart beat?" [Eyebrows furrow together.] "I'm… dead?"
Ivy: "To be blunt, yes." [Ivy sighed,] (If she can't remember we ill get nothing out of this) "And it was not very pleasant you were… you were murdered and we are trying to catch the thing that did this. So please if there is anything that you remember we need to know about it."
((I haven't forgotten about this…. Just been busy, a bit depressed again, and needed a break from online interactions.
Sandra: [Eyes are downcast.] "My mother…. I was going to visit, and check in on her."
((Sorry life has been… everything))
Ivy: "Yes, we understand that," Ivy said calmly, " I need you to focus a little bit more on those last moments. Do you remember what it looked like or why it would have wanted to hurt you or your mother?"
Sandra: "There was this… person. He wore nothing but black."
Ivy: "That's great, it's a great start, is there anything else, what color were his eyes? or maybe he smelled like aftershave or cologne?" [Ivy asked in the same soft voice she'd use when talking to other people in the asylum.] "Small details can lead to big answers."
Sandra: "His eyes were dark and scary looking. He smelled of whiskey and smoke."
Ivy: Ivy nod's along listening carefully, "This is useful. Is there anything deals about him? How tall do you think he was? did he have any facial hair, tattoos or scars?" She smiles softly as the girl in the mirror, "Everything helps."
Sandra: [Remembering things a little more clearly.] "He was kinda short, around 5'6". He was dressed head to toe in black; his eyes were the only thing that I saw…. I'm sorry."
Levi: "What about the bakery? You had a angry client named Pheobe Vera."
Sandra: [Silent, clearly unnerved by hearing the name.]
Ivy: [ Ivy's eyes darted over to Levi] (oh… we have to be careful) [she thought to herself] (ask or say too much and she could bail on the conversation or even become vengeful) "It's ok, no one expects you to have all the answers."
Sandra: "Phoebe Vera…. She claimed that something bad was going to happen to me if I wasn't careful; I guess she was right."
Levi: Seems we have yet another psychic on our hands. "What was it that you were doing that warranted a warning?"
Sandra: [Hesitant, wringing her hands together.] "I…. My mother and I, uh, we held a séance to try to contact my father."
Levi: That can have horrible outcomes if done without the proper equipment and protections; one could easily, accidentally, summon something malevolent…. "Hmmm."
Ivy: [Her eyes go wide and her breathing speeds up just barely as she forces herself to remain calm.] spirts that are not dismissed properly or ones that slip in can often be deadly she forced the thoughts through her mind It is rarely ever falt of the summoner due to the nature of malevolent beings for being tricking and often forceful. [she said the words over and over in her mind] It was not my fault "Did you see professional for the séance or you two do it yourself?"
Sandra: "We did it ourselves, using an old book that my father had found whilst traveling abroad."
Levi: They must've pronounced something incorrectly, had the set up wrong, or even both. [Stands up from the edge of the tub, preparing to leave the room.] "I think that we have all she can tell us….Unless you can think of anything else that you want to ask her."
Ivy: [she nods] "Et respondit vocatio est et debita solvit. Transierunt sermonibus tempus habet. Volo te salvum facere per fauces nebula.Et nunc absolvo vos modo in alteram partem. ((He answered the call, and he owes. talking time has passed. I want you to make a safe passage through the fog. I now free you now on the other side)) [the image faded from the mirror back into Ivy's reflection. After another breath or two she turned off the sink. "she returned to the other side and there are no remaining spirits." [she grabs her shirt and putting it back on.] "I hope this is simple spirt and not something worse. I suggest we find that book."
((Sorry for being away for so long, I've been sick but it's all good now. I hope it's alright if I jump back in real quick))
Ash: [gets up silently] "So where do you suggest we look first? The family may have moved it or something after the funeral…" [she paused, trying to think more about what to do next.]
