"Nah man. A truck this time" She said jokingly, immediately grabbing her ribs when she laughed, doubling over for a second before standing straight again and making her way to her room

Alias: Phantom (she prefers to go by this.)
Age: 15

Appearance: She’s 5’5, slender, and flat-chested, with broad shoulders. She has short, chin-length black hair and bangs that frequently fall into her eyes unless they’re pinned back. She has freckles on her cheeks and shoulders, and she’s unnaturally pale. She has upturned, electric blue eyes and a permanent frown on her face. She normally wears a hoodie, ripped jeans, and combat boots, and she refuses to wear skirts or dresses.
Costume: Basic spandex suit just like the rest of these friends lmao. Her suit is mainly light blue, with white gradients on the hands and feet and white eyes. She wears a navy blue oversized jacket over her suit, with three pins: a pin with a ghost on it, a pin with the aroace flag, and a pin that’s just black scribbles. Her mask has a white stripe from the corner of her eye to her jaw. Her suit has a hood.
Personality: She’s most pretty quiet, other than a few sarcastic remarks to anyone who tries to approach her. She’s blunt, snappy, and overall pretty rude. She has a soft spot for reptiles.
Abilities: She can levitate, create illusions, and she heals quickly. She has a higher chance of surviving lethal wounds, but she can obviously still die. Don’t want her to be op lol

Backstory: Alice Miller used to just be Alice. Not Phantom. She had a good childhood, she made good grades… nobody would expect her to be her Earth’s hero. Especially not her.

Alice has a best friend, named Jessica. Alice and Jessica had been friends since they were little. That is, until Jessica got an offer she simply couldn’t refuse… no matter the consequences.

When Alice was 14, a few months before her birthday, Jessica handed her over to a couple of people who would then take her to a lab for human experiments. They were trying to create super humans with certain abilities.

Alice was brutally tortured during these experiments, being pushed to her physical and mental breaking point. She had gained some powers in the process, and those abilities were also exhausted for the sake of science.

When she was 15, she’d finally escaped, but she never became the hero she was supposed to be.

“They want me to be a hero? After everything they’ve done to me, they expect me to just move along like nothing ever happened?”

She had been dressed like a hero, she held herself like one… but she refused to be one.

Alice Miller, the girl who was meant to be the next spider-person, became Phantom instead. And the name Alice was dead to her from that day on.

“I don’t want to be a hero.”

“That isn’t how this works. You know that.”

“Really? Do you think I give a fuck how it works? Everyone else got bitten by a spider and gained all sorts of abilities, whoop-dee-doo. I was kidnapped and tortured in a lab because who I thought was my best friend is really a piece of shit. I am not a hero.”

“Alice, you can’t just-”

“I’m not Alice. Alice was stupid and naive. Alice trusted people.”

“. . .”

“There’s a multiverse for a reason, O’Hara. There’s plenty of people willing to act like everything’s okay when it really isn’t. I’m not one of them.”

Nobody knows the rest of Phantom’s story.
