"Yeah, to not do it. Can you come with me to say sorry to Roman now?" he asked. His parents never gave him much of the soft treatment, he didn't want to reflect that onto Remus. "We can watch any movie you want afterwards, and I'll make popcorn too! Just you and me, okay? I know you don't like it when I go away for these meetings."
"Well, I'm going to go stress eat in my room now." Logan stood up unsteadily and pulled another jar of Crofters out of his pocket, starting to walk off.
"Hey, Lo-Lo, can you help me out?" Deceit called. "I need you to go get Roman out of my armoury, okay? I'll hand you the key."
"Alright…" Logan reluctantly put the jelly back in his pocket and made his way over to Deceit to retrieve the key.
Deceit handed Logan the key and scooped Remus up into his arms gently. Sure, the boy was heavy, but Deceit was strong, and hugs solved everything in his experience.
Remus looked up at Deceit and smiled. "That sounds good!" He said. When Logan came he handed the key to Logan but not before whispering "I'll get you back for telling."
Logan took the key and did his best to ignore Remus as he headed to the armory. He unlocked the door and released Roman.
Deceit carried him to the living room, opening up his laptop and pulling up the video app. "Oh, I forgot to ask Logan if he and Roman and Virgil wanted to watch anything with us!" Deceit said and flustered, hopped up and ran to the stairs, leaving his laptop open and unlocked. With Remus.
Roman walked out regally like a prince… Not like someone who was previously locked in a armory. "Why thank you Logan, you crofters loving peasant."
"I heard that, kiddo! By the way, Remus and I are gonna watch movies, would either of you have any interest in joining us?" Deceit asked.
"Yeah, yeah… call me peasant again and I'll lock you back in." Logan smiled sarcastically and patted Roman on the head. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have more important matters to attend to." He walked out of the room, keeping the key safe in his hand. He looked up at the sound of Deceit's voice. "Oh… I suppose I could join you."
Remus giggled as Deceit picked him. He loved it when Father did this. He look through some of the movies as Deceit scrolled through them. "Get Dad too!" Remus yelled as Deceit ran off. He look at the laptop before to scroll through it a bit more. Maybe he could actually convice Father to let him watch a horror movie.
"Sure! I would love to watch a movie with you and the friend." Roman said and skipped gracefully over to deceit. "Thank you for extending this invitation."
"Don't call Remus a friend, Roman. It's rude, and friends are really very nice, if not a little mischievous at times." Deceit said. It was pretty common knowledge between the family of magic and it's ins and outs, even if the kids were a bit young for their first transformation. "And he's your brother, your Duke, remember?"
"Yes yes I remember, and when I call him a friend. I mean it in the most respectful loving way possible." Roman said and flashed his award winning smile.
"If he's the prince and Remus the duke, what does that make everyone else?" Logan asked curiously, slowly pulling the Crofters out of his pocket again.
"Pesants!" Remus yelled from the couch. "And thanks for the complement bro!"
"You're very much welcome." Roman said and ran to where Remus was on the couch. When he entered the room he slowed down and walked casually and sat on the couch.
"You can be whatever you want to be. I am your Father, then you have Patton, your other Father, or Dad, and Dad is my partner," Deceit had another thought of exactly what Patton was to him, but he didn't want Remus getting any more ideas. Deceit walked along to meet the twins, along with Logan, and went to get Patton and popcorn.
Logan huffed. "If I were only a peasant, how is it that I could release the prince from his prison?" He rolled his eyes and sat down on the couch, starting to eat his Crofters quietly.
"Fine… you could be our adviser, sorcerer, or something like that. Maybe our court scholar." Roman said with a smile. "We appreciate your services."
"You definitely need advice." Logan scoffed quietly and pulled out his other jar of Crofters. He seemed to still be tense, which explained the stress eating.
"Pattycake, the kids and I are going to sit down and watch a movie. You're free to join!" Deceit called to the house at large, and began to make the popcorn, crisp and buttery, popping and crackling loudly as it heated up.
"What took you so long to get here?" Remus said with a smirk when Roman walked in, as he scrolled through the movies.
Roman glared over at Remus. "Sorry Duke friend. But I had business to attend to." He replied nonchalantly, no hint of annoyance in his tone.
