"I will try my best to ensure nothing happens to your mental state. Come now, it is time to enter the dark side." They walked into the dark side of the brain, and Ollie could immediately feel the difference. Despite all his efforts to stay cool, he couldn't help but shudder a bit.
Depression walked in without a change in how he felt. He followed Ollie closely as they walked through.
Ollie shrugged off the feeling and kept walking. "Father? Virgil? Roman? Patton? Are you guys in here?"
"Guys. Time to stop hiding. The game is over." D said calmly as they walked. He stared at each door they pass but didn't make any move to disturb them.
Ollie was starting to get nervous and mildly panicked now. First of all, the main sides weren’t showing up. Secondly, the place was a huge wreck. Like, incredibly chaotic and all over the place. Ollie’s heart was racing and it was taking everything he had to try and control his breathing so D didn’t know how badly he was doing in here.
"Ollie." Depression called him for the second time then grabbed his shoulders. "Ollie." He said calmly.
Ollie flinched a bit when D grabbed him, but he looked over at him anyways. He hesitated before speaking. “…Y-Yeah?”
"You look like hell. Maybe we should leave." He said to him quietly like someone was listening.
He shook his head. “No… I-I’ll be okay… we need to find them.” Ollie looked around for a door the sides may be behind.
Narcissus didn't want to stand around, and followed. "Whoa, weird." he said as he stepped into the unfamiliar side of the mindscape. "Guys? Where are you?"
Nikka breathed deeply, fighting a panic attack. "It's gonna be fine," she announced to no one in particular, "we're gonna find them and then… everything will be back to normal… of course, that's assuming we haven't broken Thomas… oh, wonderful. Nope. It's fine." She broke off, continuing to mutter under her breath "it's fine."
Ollie heard Narcissus and quickly went over to him. “Thank god you guys are here… t-this place is awful.” He was actually shaking a bit now, despite his best efforts.
"This place's aesthetic is great." D said as he followed Ollie and walked over to Narc. "Hey Narc, I see you followed."
Finally, Nikka gave up and followed the rest. She couldn't handle this on her own.
"Yeah, hi. It's so weeeird in here!" he gestured to the dark, eerie space.
“W-Well, weird is one way to put it…” Ollie seemed to almost be cowering. The chaos was worse the further they went in, and he couldn’t quite keep his breathing under control anymore. He always stuck very close to someone (typically Narcissus) while they were walking and he was visibly shaking.
"Ollie, you okay? I know it's creepy as hell, but why so paranoid of this paranormal?" he joked, putting his arm around the side's shoulder.
Depression walked showing no change in how he felt at all. Though it was just like the mask he wore, he was 'fine' like always. He looked around everywhere as he walked.
"Hello? Hellooo?! Guys, it's fricking creepy in here! Where are you?" Nikka called. She rubbed her arms to release nervous energy.
“It’s just… i-it’s… look at it! T-This is complete and utter chaos…” Ollie was never able to get used to any of it. The chaos was giving him a great deal of anxiety, and not being able to fix it made him feel panicked and helpless.
Depression stopped and turned to them. "Guys take a deep breath. and let it out. Calm your mind, ignore your surroundings. Focus on one thing and walk to it and keep doing that. Everything will be fine." He said to them in hopes it would help.
As soon as she heard a voice, Nikka ran toward it. "Hello? Ollie?" she always felt worried about that poor baby.
“There are no things to look at! I-It’s just a huge jumbled mess! Oh, no, no, no….” Ollie covered his face with his hands, his knees feeling weak. “I-I am never coming here again…”
"Then focus on Narc. He is right next to you. Focus on him." D hadn't a clue if this would help.
After what seemed like hours, she caught up to the group. "Oh, my gods, finally. Where are we - are you guys ok?"
