Shuivhi looked up " Kai, what's going on?" He handed him a peice of paper and a pencil

Kaito thought for a moment before writing things down. It took a few minutes, but eventually showed the paper to Shuichi.

I have to admit, I feel so bad for what happened.. I wasn't thinking. I should have listened to your concerns about the wedding… I should have rescheduled it.. I feel like you might lose me, and we just got married… I mean, with my health conditions on top of being shot… I'm sorry…

" it's alright, while your right, I can lose you, but I won't let you go. I'll always find you."

Kaito looked at the other for a moment before deciding to reply.

I appreciate it, Shuichi… I really do… I hate to admit it, but I'm scared that I might die…and I'm sorry.. I had to protect you, but I don't want you to lose me…

(And I have decided to wrap this up because they deserve happiness-)

They managed to talk things through and calm each other. While it took a while, eventually, Kaito did recover. Returning home made him really happy, and even if he had yet to be able to do much, he had to do things to make Shuichi happy. Mostly cuddles and maybe going out.

"It's nice to be home.." He smiled a bit. "If you're okay with it, why don't we get some food?"

Shuichi smiled “ yes,”

Kaito smiled in response to that. "Let's go, then!"

His energy seemed to be returning, which was a good sign. He was doing a lot better than he was a few days before.

“ where too?”

"I've got an idea!" Kaito smiled, taking the other's hand and taking him to his favorite restaurant. "And we're here!"

" wow that was quick."

"Yeah, I can still run pretty quickly despite everything that happened," Kaito chuckled. "Now let's eat!"

" alright!"

Kaito smiled as he sat down with Shuichi. For the first time since they had gotten married, things were finally okay. They were happy, just going on a date. For once, no one's health was a cause for concern. There was nothing wrong anymore. It all seemed perfect as Kaito happily chatted about space as he would, a wide and bright grin on my face the entire time.

Shuichi sat and listened

Kaito continued to smile as he spoke, and then he looked at Shuichi.

"And despite the passionate conversation about space, I love you more!" he exclaimed, grinning widely.

“ I love you too!”

Kaito smiled at him. "You're still as adorable as ever when you tell me that. I love it!"

“ now what?”

"Just enjoy our married life? Stargaze? Be happy?" Kaito suggested. "That would be nice. And then we could cuddle and be happy."

(Needs drama soon. We're not ending it yet)

(Still a bit out of ideas, but I'm setting the scene because I'm so ready for one final bit of dramatic Saimota insanity from us! I missed this-)

Kaito smiled at Shuichi and picked him up, rushing to the park with him. Despite all that had happened in the past few weeks, he was as energetic as ever, releasing that energy in every way possible. He had only recently been released from the hospital, but he was far too energetic to consider taking things easy.

He sat next to Shuichi, glancing at the beautiful night sky. The stars were shining brightly, illuminating the otherwise dark sky. It was one of Kaito's favorite sights to see. He pulled Shuichi close him, smiling.

"Ah, we finally get to stargaze again," he smiled. "It's been so long. And sorry for carrying you here. That probably wasn't the best idea, but I'm good!"

Shuichi giggled and crawled into his partner's lap. He leaned against the other chest and yawned, “ I missed this too. “ he said softly

Kaito smiled at him, finding him adorable. "It really is nice to be with you like this again. I say we enjoy the night sky for a little bit, and then we'll go home and finally have our first full day of being married without anything happening. Tomorrow will just be a day to relax and cuddle. The worst is finally over…"
