"Fireworks? What's there to celebrate? Its no holiday or anything…is it?" Sol looks at the people beside her and getting equally confused looks from both their faces, she turns back to the girl in front of her.

"My success with a new bomb mixture. Imma pyromaniac okay?" JJ shrugged chuckling as she pointed to a plume of smoke rising from a patch of singed grass

"…pyromaniac?" Amber repeated slowly. Her wings fluttered nervously. She'd never had to patch up her wings, but she'd seen the trouble. Her mother, a long time ago had suffered from a gunshot wound to her left wing, and never fully recovered. The wound bled on and off until her eventual death.

Kat perked up at the mention of fireworks.

“Really?”
Her eyes, and her feline’s eyes, were full of shining excitement.

“Can you show us some more?”

(she does have cat ears and abilities as well)
JJ nodded and smiled then notice the girl with wings looking anxious and spoke to her "The shells I use are able to disintegrate under the pressure of heat so there is no concern of wounds" then turned to the other girl "Yeah let me get my bag also can I get your names please?"

"Disintegrate… pressure… heat…" Amber tried to repeat the words to herself under her breath, trying to make sense of it. What? Unfortunately, she didn't use big words like that very often, so she had no idea what the other girl meant. "I'm sorry, but I don't understand what you just said… I'm Amber, by the way, and this… pardon me, that cat over there is Sunny."

"Oh uh..well the shells turn to dust when the explosion goes off" JJ explained then remembered they didn't know her name either "I'm JJ by the way but some people call me Bomb Squad" then she reached down and grabbed a bottle and a bottle rocket getting ready to set them off

Kat smiled at the girl.
“I’m Kat, and this kitty is Punkin.”
She snuggled Punkin when introducing him, which made the feline meow.

"I'm Solonia, but most people call me Sol. So you made all of this yourself?" Sol was a little bit awed by the newcomer. She also wondered how people made fireworks…well work.

JJ nodded "Yup my dad taught me from a young age…you could say I have explosions in my blood" her grin widened and showed her sharp canines then she bent down and lit the bottle rocket yelling "FIRE IN THE HOLE!"

Amber nodded, pretending she understood what JJ had said, and flinched at the noise, taking a step back. She didn't like loud noises. She didn't like this, at all.

Amber had instinctively ducked, shying away, but once she heard JJ's voice, full of excitement, she looked up, slowly uncurling herself. "Oh- cool!" she still wasn't very happy about the whole fireworks thing, but she could deal with it if she stayed a good distance away… she thought.

Kat smiled brightly.
“Woah woah!! That was amazing!”
