“Ugh, the Ravenclaw stairs are terrible! Almost enough to make me wish I was in Slytherin,” Atlas joked, nudging Vega. “Though the Hufflepuff common room sounds the nicest. Did you see what Corvus wrote about it?”
“Ooh, I didn’t,” Vega said with a real smile. “Probably something about food, though, knowing him.”
“He was working on his story. You know, like a book helping first years get through the castle. The Hufflepuff common room is apparently warm and welcoming, with all sorts of plants and comfortable couches and the like.”
"Now I wish that I was in Hufflepuff." Arryn sighed
“That does sound pretty awesome,” Vega agreed with a grin. “Though I can personally vouch for the Slytherin common room in saying that it is not, in fact, cold.”
"Its in the dungeon by the lake." She said "is it spelled to be warm?"
"Yeah," Vega nodded, unfastening the door latch that led to the train compartment's corridor. "I did some research on it in first year, after some fourth year told me that there was no way I'd find anything."
"Cool!" Arryn said then looked around "we had better hurry if we want to catch a carriage." She said gesturing to the train compartment that was quickly becoming empty.
(Can I join, or is it too late?)
//I’m sorry, I think it’s too late for anyone else to join. If the title thingy still says ‘open’, that’s my bad, and I apologize. I’ll check it right now.
"Cool!" Arryn said then looked around "we had better hurry if we want to catch a carriage." She said gesturing to the train compartment that was quickly becoming empty.
Vega nodded and turned to her sister. “Hey, Atlas, you coming?”
“Yep,” she said, quickly shoving the book into her trunk and picking it up. “To another year?”
“To another year,” Vega said, holding out a hand. “Shall we?”
“We shall!” Atlas took her sister’s hand and dragged her towards the nearby carriage.
Arryn ran behind d them, laughing "there's only a few more carriages so I hope we aren't late." She said
Atlas pulled open the door to a carriage, looking inside. “No one here.”
"Let's go!" Arryn said hoping inside the carriage.
“Perfect-o,” Vega said, smiling as she climbed into the carriage. Summer may have been terrible, but she didn’t have to go back home for a whole school year, and she couldn’t help but feel happy at that.
//taxes, they’re the highest they’ve been in years.
Are we going to keep going?
//maybe the beginning of the feast?
