A few more months passed, and then Iidabashi gave the boys a call. He had almost finished making the design of their child, and he was going to have them around as he officially powered the kid and started its life. He was proud of his work, and he wanted the others to be there. It was their child that he was creating, after all.

Kiibo raced to get to his dads from work,
Panting in the doorway as he knocked on the door

Kokichi grinned once he saw Kiibo there. "There ya are, Kiiboy~! Now let's head inside!"

Iidabashi met them once Kiibo knocked on the door. "You guys should come in. Mitsuyo is almost finished!"

“ thank God I made it in time!”

"I wasn't gonna finish Mitsuyo without you guys!" Iidabashi told Kiibo. "Now come inside! They're almost ready!"

“ come on love,” kiibo said happily

Kokichi nodded and ran into Iidabashi's lab with Kiibo and the professor following him. He was excited to see Mitsuyo.

Kiibo was just as excited to meet his kid, smiling like a doofus

Iidabashi smiled as he led them to Mitsuyo. "All that's really left is for me to finalize some programming. The body, at least for the age that they're programmed to be, which is only a couple of years old, is complete. All that's left is your decision. What did you want them to be? With the growing AI that I gave them, like Kiibo's, their gender may change with how they feel, but as a base gender, what were you two thinking?"

“ I in all honesty don't mind what they are, do you have an idea ko?”

Ko shook his head. "We gave them a gender neutral name, so they can figure it out on their own," he stated.

Iidabashi gave them a soft smile. "Kinda like Kiibo. He was programmed without one, but he developed to feel like a boy early in his life. I'll power Mitsuyo up now!"

He smiled as he officially powered Mitsuyo up. The robot's eyes lit up as it was officially powered on. For the first time, it had life. They were programmed to act and looked like a small child. It was honestly an adorable sight to see. Iidabashi carried them over to Kokichi and Kiibo.

"And this is your child," he smiled. "They exist now."

Kiibo smiled softly as he held his hand out for his child “ hi mitsuyo..” he said softly

Mitsuyo grabbed Kiibo's hand after a moment and gave a soft smile. They had yet to speak, but they appeared happy to see their parents.

Kiibo bumped his head softly to the others, the two sharing a secret bond

Kokichi smiled at the two of them. "Awww, you two are adorable together~! I love you guys~!"

Kiibo smiled picking mitsuyo up and bringing him closer to kokichi

"Cutie~" Kokichi smiled as he booped Mitsuyo's nose. "So, this is our son? He's so adorable! Just like you, Kiiboy~!"

(hey don't forget today is 80’s day, also! Could you bring kos scarf? Ima be yo gender-bent kokichi today lol.) kiibo smiled and shook his head “ he's more like you ko,”

(We have themes? (in my defense, I was gone for a while) What the hell would even be in my wardrobe from then? I'll bring the scarf, though)

Kokichi grinned and shook his head. "No, he's more like you, my beloved Kiiboy~"
