Gena (remember, it's pronounced like Jenna) sighed and manipulated little bits of power on her fingertips. She wiggled her fingers and branches spread out across the room. She grinned and hoped that her mom would come home soon.

Lexi walked up to the entrance of the gym. She had been going there every other day, but for the past few weeks, her studies kept her up and leaving no time for workouts. It wasn't like your ordinary gym where you could just use a treadmill or dumbbells. It was one where she trained her powers and made sure they weren't getting out of control. Her mother insisted she went, so she did. This was her fourth year here and she knew the other people and employees fairly well.

She saw Val -or she thought she did because really, all she saw was red and gold- running laps. Lexi was not quite to her speed but could move pretty fast. "Hey, how are you doing Val?" She decided to make some conversation, while she waited for the others to finish with the targets.
