The tavernkeep and the drunkard. The mortal and the god. The cautious and the troublemaker. The oblivious and the flirt. It shouldn't have felt like it did. If it wasn't meant to be, then why did they fit together so perfectly? They both know it's a horrendously stupid idea, but they do it anyway. Because they're Diluc and Venti and no one could stop them if they tried.
Diluc had absolutely no idea what he's feeling. He'd never had deep romantic feelings for anyone, so when he inevitably felt those little butterflies in his stomach when the beautiful bard smiled, he was sure something was wrong with him.
Venti on the other hand, has been flirting with Diluc for ages now. He was a natural flirt but it was rather obvious that after meeting Diluc, the teases that he'd so often give out were now being saved for the redhead exclusively. But said redhead had no idea what Venti was trying to imply.
Kaeya had just wanted a nice glass of wine. That was all. But when he sat down at the bar and Diluc was very obviously agitated, he couldn't help but ask. Of all the things he thought the redhead might say, he hadn't expected his sworn brother to launch into a long-winded, somewhat one-sided conversation about how a certain green fellow made him feel nauseous and his heart thump loudly.
Being the devil he was, of course he had to meddle.
NOTES: I have Genshin Impact brainrot :') This is a rarepair so I'm not sure whether anyone will be down but I love them so much. Will probably also feature Lumine, Amber, Lisa, etc. Y'know, the main Mondstadt folks. Main plot will most likely be Venti tirelessly flirting with Diluc, Kaeya desperately trying to get them to just kiss already, Lumine, Amber and Lisa in the background watching with popcorn, and Diluc having absolutely no idea what's happening. I could be either Venti or Diluc, and I have no preference.
