Hey everyone! So I had an idea for a Romeo/Juliet roleplay, and I was dying to try it out. It’s about a Gryffindor and a Slytherin that fall in love, but they’re not only in enemy houses but on opposing quidditch teams! It’s set soon after Voldemort is defeated the first time (Harry is a lil' baby with the Dursleys), so we still have all of the same teachers, but the Death Eaters and the Order haven’t quite disbanded yet, and these two are also from families with these backgrounds so that can be some more conflict if we need it.
I’d like to play the Gryffindor (Imma be a girl because I have a perfect character) because it’s ma’ house, and therefore easier for me to write from that perspective. You don’t have to be a Slytherin to be the Slytherin, but to join you must have read all of the books and have a good knowledge of the actual traits of the houses (not just stereotypes).
Rules:
- Very little swearing, please
- No LGBTQ for maximum Romeo/Juliet accuracy
- No smut is happening
- Past-tense writing, please
- Good-ish grammar, but I won’t police ya
- Good posts, not one sentence (unless it’s throughout a sequence in which we’re going back and forth, or it’s the best way to emphasize, just don’t do one sentence often)
- Have fun, I want this to turn out cool!!!!
