Once night had fallen, Scipio slipped out of his common room and waited beside the hatch. He was easily able to find it because of the spell he had cast upon it, and now just waited for Phoenix to arrive.

Phoenix silently tip toed out of her common room, her shadow creeping on the walls. She did not look for the trapdoor for too long.
Phoenix peeked by the corner and saw someone.
"Scipio?" she whispered.

Scipio silently sent Ombra to check and make sure that it was Phoenix. Once she returned with confirmation, he answered. "Yes? Are you ready to go now?" He responded quietly. Speaking quietly was second nature to him now, having spoken Parseltongue so long and so frequently.

"mhm…" she hummed silently while walking around the corner.

"Alright, let's go then…" Scipio pried open the trapdoor and hopped down. "Arresto Momentum!" Could be heard from him as he neared the ground. He then brought Ombra down as well, knowing that she would likely be useful during the excursion.

Phoenix watched Scipio jump down, hoping everything is going to be alright.
"Oh, well…" She mumbled to herself, and jumped down, knowing that she will get hurt, and feeling stupid for not using any spells.

Scipio turned around to see Phoenix jumping down without her wand out and quickly cast 'Arresto Momentum' so that she landed safely on her feet. "You alright?"

"Yeah…thanks" She smiles softly and fixes the red mess on her head.
"I'm quite distracted right now. Dont mind me"
And walked he direction they have walked before.

"Okay, then…?" Scipio kept his wand out just in case, trotting along behind Phoenix. He may know a few spells to get out of a crisis and quick reflexes, but he wasn't particularly known for his courage or outspokenness. Honestly, he was pretty nervous. The ice thing had freaked him out, and he was fairly sure it carried a curse of some kind.

After a few seconds, Phoenix realized she should take her wand out as well.
"Lumos…" She mumbled.
After tripping over a few rocks, she still refused to come back to earth. She had some things to think over after the last time…

Scipio noticed that the ice had spread further and his breath caught in his throat. That can't be good… "Um… hey, Phoenix?" He stopped by the frozen over entryway he had spotted, glancing nervously at Phoenix.

She quickly turned to Scipio.
"Are you okay?"
"This is not good… Not good…"

"The ice, it's… it's spreading." Scipio pointed his wand at the entryway. "Incendio!" The surface of the ice became glossier, but nothing much happened. Scipio's heart was pounding. "B-Bombarda!" A few pieces of ice shot off to the side, but the majority of the ice was still there. Scipio started pacing anxiously. "I-It's gotten stronger… and I can't stop it from spreading! What do we do?"

"I- I dont know…" Her breath was trembling. She started tapping her feet.
"Come on! think… Stupid brain"
"What can we do? Shoot at once? Not gonna help… ugh.. "
She kept looking at Scipio and mumbling to herself.

Scipio paced for another few seconds before pointing his wand at the ice again. "Bombarda Maxima!" The ice exploded, throwing him backwards onto the floor and knocking the wind out of him.

Phoenix quickly ran up to him and holding out her hand.
"Come on!"

It took Scipio a moment to actually do as he was asked, considering he was dazed for several seconds. "R-Right… that was probably really stupid."

"Pfft..Been worse. what do we do now?"

Scipio took a second to steady himself. "Hmm? Oh… I don't know, honestly." He looked down the dark, frozen corridor. "Is it safe down there, anyways?"

"What else can we do…? Let's go!" she quickly rushes down the corridor. All of her thoughts had suddenly disappeared.

This is going to end badly… Scipio whispered 'Lumos' and tried his best to keep up with Phoenix. The corridor seemed to get more and more frozen as they went on, and that made him pretty worried that they would be trapped.

Phoenix stopped and looked at Scipio, and she saw the worry on his face.
"Hey, we're not going to die. And if we are, at least doing something interesting."
She smiles.
