" nobody showed me they care though.."
" nobody showed me they care though.."
Kiibo frowned at the comment. It saddened him to think that people wouldn't express that they care about Kokichi as if they didn't care at all. Even if he had been rather annoying during the killing game, causing problems for fun, they could have at least tried to treat him kindly. That was his opinion, at least.
"That's…rather concerning," he admitted after a moment. "In your entire life, no one has once expressed that they care about you? While it would certainly explain how you behave around others, it's a concerning fact."
" how, I thought it was normal."
Kiibo was rather concerned when he heard Kokichi say that he thought it was normal. Had he really gone so long without anyone caring about him that he thought that it was normal to not be cared about? It made him feel bad for the other, and he wanted to help. He cared about him, so he knew that he could help as well, and once he was brought back into the real world, he would be sure to bring Kokichi back with him
"That's far from normal, Ouma-kun," he responded softly. "It's not normal to go your entire life without someone caring about you. In fact, it's concerning. From what I've learned, mostly stuff I've picked up from you or looked into because of you, this issue can cause a lot of issues for people, which would explain why you put a mask up near others. I know I'm only one person, but I do care about you. When I get back to the real world, I'll bring you back, too."
"you don't have too.. enjoy your life." He said softly, smiling as he watched the other face away " they built it.
Kiibo gave Kokichi a small smile as he faded away. Seconds later, his eyes opened as he saw the human world again. He saw his father there with the survivors of the killing game around as well. They all seemed to be happy to have him back, and he was happy to be back, but he would definitely request that his father build a body for Kokichi as well.
"Thank you guys for bringing me back," he responded softly. He gave the group a smile. "Really, I appreciate your efforts to rebuild my body and give me another chance at life."
Kokichi watched from the clouds, a few years falling
Once the three survivors of the killing game left, Kiibo turned to Iidabashi. He had a question for him, wondering if he would be willing to build a body for Kokichi. He would explain to him what his friend looked like to help him create something that looked like him, and then he could finally be back.
"Hey, Dad?" he asked softly. "Is it alright if I make a request for you? There's something that I want you to do."
Kokichi sighed, pulling his hair back into a lose ponytail and walked away from the cloud
Kiibo tapped Iidabashi on the shoulder to get his attention. He knew that he was happy to see him again, and he was happy for the reunion as well, but he needed to ask about making Kokichi a body before he forgot about it. He didn't know if his memories of the afterlife would last forever or if they'd go away after a while, so, in his mind, time was limited.
"Dad?" he called. "I'm happy to see you, too, really, but I need to make this request before I forget about it. Is that alright?"
"oh.. okay, what is it Kiibo?" He asked softly
Kiibo hummed in thought for a moment as he wondered about how to word this question. Did his dad know that he went to the afterlife, that there even was an afterlife for him? He really didn't know, but he was going to tell him about what happened while he was there. He had to since he was going to request him to build a body for his currently deceased friend.
"Could you possibly build a body for one of my friends?" he asked after a moment. "This may sound weird, but before my body was rebuilt, I was in the afterlife, and I saw him. I would love to see him again, and if rebuilding my body brought me back, it should bring him back as well. If you agree, I'll tell you what he looks like, and I'll help you!"
"of course I would Kiibo, I'd do anything to help." He said softly and quickly got to work.
Kiibo was glad to hear that his dad would build a body for Kokichi. He looked up for a second, wondering if his friend could see this from the clouds. If he could, then he would know that he was going to get a second chance at life in a little while, and he would help his dad build the body.
"Okay, so, he has purple eyes and dark purple hair, and his hair is a bit weird, but I'll try my best to explain, and we can get this looking like him!" he beamed as he helped his father with the project. "I think he'll be happy to have a second chance at life!"
(duudddee I got some traumaaa)
(I saw. You can add it. Realistically, a killing game would leave anyone traumatized)
The body was made to match kokichi, and a identical outfit made to the killing game. Down to the jacket he had on when he died..
Once the body was made, Kiibo waited for Kokichi to come back to them, to join the real world again. He really hoped that his idea would work and that his friend would be back, but he couldn't know at the time. He just waited for something to happen, hoping that Kokichi would be back with them now that he had a body.
Kokichi felt his body fade "huh?" He asked softly
And before his eyes could render what was happening, he was in a body. It felt insanely weird.
"Help.. help! I.. I can't move.?!"
Kiibo placed his hand on Kokichi's shoulder to help calm him. He understood that it was likely strange for him to be back in a body after being dead for so long and watching everything from the afterlife, but he was going to help him out. He cared a lot about his friend, so he would help him adjust to everything.
"You can. It'll just take a moment,' he told him softly. "Welcome back, by the way." He smiled softly at the other as he spoke. "It's nice to see that this worked."
Kokichi started to look around. Seeing his clothing… The jacket.
Kaito's jacket was around his shoulders. "No.. no no. No! I can't . I can't live this again!"
Kiibo slightly tilted his head in confusion when he heard Kokichi's comment. He wasn't sure what was wrong, but he was certainly worried about him, and he was going to try to calm him down. He would ask his dad for help if he needed to as well. He was actually human, so he likely understood things a bit better than he did.
"What do you mean?" he asked softly. "There's no longer a killing game. You're safe now, Ouma-kun, I promise."
Kokichi was reliving his death, the jacket had shot his straight into a panic attack. He watched as the stars inside moved " he's gone.. because of me.."
Kiibo sent a worried glance towards his father as this occurred. He really didn't know what to do about the current situation, so he hoped that he would have some idea to calm Kokichi down. He didn't like seeing his friend as upset as he was at the time.
Iidabashi nodded in response to his son's glance and looked at Kokichi. He seemed to understand what was going on, and he was going to try what he could to help calm Kokichi down. He knew that his son was worried about his friend, and he was a bit worried about him, too.
"Well, let's get rid of that, then," he spoke softly. "If the jacket is causing your issues, removing it should fix them once you get a moment to calm down. As for what Kiibo told me about your situation, you did it to end the game, so it's not your fault, don't worry. Just listen to me, alright?"
Kokichi looked at idabashi, terror in his eyes. " It's still my fault.. I killed him.."
