"Not really, you're rather dense." Logan said.
"Not really, you're rather dense." Logan said.
"Well, okay then," Roman said.
"You really do love him." It wasn't a question this time. Logan seemed simply dumbfounded at the revelation.
"Yes, I do," Roman said.
Logan made a sort of small coughing noise in his throat, a mixture of surprise and disdain. "You don't say," he muttered, walking away from Roman with a "goodbye" and a "meet in the common area as soon as you're able".
Roman simply told him okay and went back to Deceit. "I'm back!"
"Oh, goody." said the snake, little enthusiasm in his voice.
"How was it while I was gone?" Roman asked.
"You weren't gone for, like, five minutes. I can't say much happened in that time." Deceit rolled his eyes. "So, how's pocket protector? Still being ignored by everyone?"
(Headcanon: Deceit is Patton's opposite, therefore, Deceit is the dark sides' dad (or like mom? Idk I just have some trans MtF headcanons. I won't use them here tho.) and therefore, is Virgil's dad-ish? So Patton and Dee share custody of Virgil idk my theories make no sense but it's an okay premise for a fic. Also, yes I did just spill that Virgil as a dark side has been confirmed, but tbh everyone already knew that.)
"Pretty much. He just goes on and on about everything. Also, Deceit, about us… how are we going to keep this a secret from everyone?" Roman asked.
"Easily. The others are dense, they won't notice a thing." Deceit said calmly.
"We need to keep this from Thomas, too. I'm pretty sure we'll be fine, though," Roman said.
"It'll be fine, the worst that could happen is you being thrown out of the mindscape. You could meet my friends then, they're so much nicer! But I can't understand why you'd still want to hang around with the others, Logan is good company if you get to know him better." Deceit waved a hand, but seemed a little excited about the mystery, the secret keeping, the danger of it all.
"I think we'll be fine. They probably won't find out anyway," Roman said.
"Whatever. I don't care what happens as long as I'm with you." Deceit said.
"And as long as I'm with you, anything will be great, no matter what happens," Roman said.
"Drama nerd. Meet me in the Imagination at seven pm, I promise it'll be romantic." Deceit said cheerfully, waving and exiting the theatre.
"Okay," Roman said smiling.
It was just a few minutes until Roman arrived. Deceit was in the tuxedo and bowtie he'd worn in the courtroom scenario, but he lacked a hat, and had a bushel of roses primarily, but also tulips, lilacs, primroses, carnations, violets, gillyflowers, and many more of all colours, all types having some connection to romance. Deceit wanted to make this as special as possible for Roman and him, but mostly for Roman overall. There was a walkway covered in red and white roses, a bridge with a small river with swimming koi, and fireflies lighting the place up, glittering like the stars in the conveniently clear sky and bright moon. He adjusted his suit, waiting for Roman to arrive. Sure, he may have gone overboard with the marble pathway or the large arches and the lavish plaza in the center of his imagined garden, but if course, this was the imagination, he could as easily rid of all his decor as he made it appear. He was Deceit after all, he had just as much creative control as Creativity did, given his designation. And while romance was never his thing, he did certainly study up on some things.
When Roman arrived he was amazed. "This is amazing!" He looked at Deceit and smiled. "I love you so much!"
"I love me too," he teased, handing Roman the flowers. "I tried to arrange them nicely, I hope you like them. Shall we?" he said, nodding to the fine plaza, a table set up in the middle with dishes and a wide variety of food set up on it.
"We shall," Roman said, smiling.
(Welp… Hello, dead as heck rp. XD Fun while it lasted. If you've been busy, that's fine; I'm being over-dramatic with this and you know it. XD)
