The Cecil Hotel is a place most Americans have at least heard murmurs of. Countless suicides, two unsolved mysteries, and two serial killers, all connected to, or based in, the hotel. It's a ghost hunter's dream come true, and a Hunter's nightmare come to life. Because that much negative energy in one place almost always spells trouble.

Nevaeh Regan knows trouble all too well. A Nephilim hiding her parentage with the help of a demon, trouble is kind of a regular constant in her life. Factor in her attempts at laying low while being a Hunter, and her entire life is one big recipe for disaster.

And then she finds herself at the Cecil Hotel. Demon best friend by her side, she follows a lead straight to the building, where she's supposed to find someone who can tell her more about her angel father and being a Nephilim in general, only to be attacked by something. Now, she has to figure out a way to stop it before it hurts others, and get along with the other Hunter after the same thing. All while keeping her secret just that, a secret.

  1. No OP characters, or I will yeet your ass outta here before you can say 'this bitch empty'. I can't stand invincible characters, man. Mary/Gary Sues/Stues are a hard nope from yours truly as well.

  2. Proper grammar, punctuation, and capitalization, please. I can get making a few mistakes, when you're tired, or English ain't your first language(It's mine, and even I have my issues), but if it's too common a thing, it irks the hell outta me. Call me a bitch, but hey.

  3. Slurs, homophobia, transphobia, rascism, sexism, anything that ends in -ism and that harms or promotes the harm of other people will not be tolerated. See my first threat. However! For plot devices, it might be considered, if you talk to me about it first.

  4. Detailed-ish responses, please. Think three or more sentences. To keep it going.

  5. Please, be on fairly often. Vacations, school, and jobs are all things I can get, but I'd like for this to have a regular pace!

  6. Rated Spicey for just that, Spicey things. Whether it be mature topics, smexy things, or, gasp, blood, this is the only warning I'll remember to give.

  7. Please keep the plot going! It's really hard for me to be invested in a roleplay if the other person reacts more than acts, and I'm excited about this premise and would love to keep it going as long as I can.

  8. I have the full right to add and edit this list. I also have the right to boot you if you're causing too many problems.

Name: Nevaeh Regan

Age(19-22): 19

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Pansexual

Appearance: Tired and like she'll kick your ass
Hair color/length/style: Dark black, with light waves. Cut to about the bottom of her shoulder blades, choppily, like she cuts it herself with a pair of scissors. Or a knife.
Eyes: Pale lilac, glow a purple grey when she uses her fire too much.
Skin tone: Deep tan.
Build: Lithe, slender muscle. Small in general, with light curves.
Height: 5'5
Other: Back is covered in black and gold ink forming feathered wings, which look tucked in. Doesn’t know if they’re actual wings or not, because she’s yet to summon them. Scar over her right eyebrow, right earlobe split from earring being yoinked out. Plenty of smaller scars, and even a few bigger ones.

Race: Nephilim, daughter of Elerial/Azrael, angel of patience, and a human mother.

Powers/Abilities: Perspicuity((immunity to mind control), minor clairvoyance, and control over holy fire. Minor note is that her blood is also incredibly intoxicating to creatures into that sorta thing, due to the divinity. It’s good for blessing weapons, at least.

Why they became a Hunter(backstory too if you want): Backstory to be revealed. She became a Hunter because it was the safest way to satisfy her bloodlust without hurting innocent people. She can kill and hurt things, as long as they hurt others. It's also partly to learn more, however she can, about what she is, and the angels.

Favorite weapon: A spear, but she knows it's impractical most of the time, so an anointed dagger is her second choice.

Usual clothing: A blue zip up hoodie, sometimes layered under a denim jacket with a hand painted night sky on the back. A black tank top, and denim shorts. Never jeans, just the shorts. Swaps between military grade combat boots and white converse that she's doodled on. Wears a vial of salt on a leather cord around her neck, and plenty of rings made with iron and silver. Practical, and fits her aesthetic. Has exactly one bag that fits all of her possessions, an old drawstring bag from a farmers market.

Other: Originally from Britain, she speaks with an accent straight out of London.

I'm trying again with one of these! I tried to do a Supernatural rp back in my early days, and it fell through quickly, which was my fault. So here I am, attempting to start a new one that might last a bit longer. It helps that I at least have half a plot, right?

Skin tone: Type III normal skin with warm undertones
Build: Endo/Mesomorph. Lean and muscular
Height: 5'11.5"
Other: Has a scorpion tattooed on his right forearm.
Race: Demigod
Powers/Abilities: As the child of Set, the Egyptian god of the desert, storms, disorder, violence, and foreigners he can create storms, cause chaos, and influence other peoples violent impulses.
Why they became a Hunter(backstory too if you want): To track down and kill the angel that murdered his mother, Rachel, and his fiance, Lenore (she was pregnant)
Favorite weapon: A angel blade made out of gold. Also wields a SW1911.
Usual clothing: Wears dark colored clothing that often has red accents.

(That cool?)

((Jhshdhd he’s great??? I love him. Putting him in the same room as Nevaeh is gonna be a fun one though, considering she’s alreasy got a quick fuse and an insane amount of wrath boiling under the surface. I’ll get a starter up in a bit!))

@croccin-champagne

"Motherfuck-" The door slammed behind Nevaeh as she exited the stairwell in an obvious hurry, ignoring the looks she got from the handful of other people in the lobby. Her hands fumbled through her pockets for her phone, drawing out the old flip phone with strangely still hands, dialing the only number with an actual contact name.

"Neve? Where in hell did you run off to?"

The Nephilim didn't bother answering her friend as she glanced back at the stairwell door, instead jumping straight to the chase. "I am not going back up there without proper defense. Aggy, those things are more powerful than we thought." As she spoke, she was digging around her bag, pulling out the Hunter's journal she had…appropriated, after the Hunter in question had died on a hunt. If there wasn't anything in the journal that could help her, then she'd be the one adding the extra page for information. She moved out of the way, plopping down in a chair near the doors to the hotel as she continued flipping through the journal, dark hair refusing to stay out of her face. She had lost her hair tie somewhere on the twelfth floor.

A dark blue 1967 Pontiac GTO pulled into a parking space at the hotel. Music came flowing from the windows before the driver turned the vehicle off. A tall, handsome man stepped out, and looked up at the hotel through his sunglasses after pulling his bags from the backseat. He made his way to the entrance where he noticed a girl with dark, wavey hair sitting on a bench before he entered the hotel.

@croccin-champagne

Nevaeh glanced up from her stolen journal as the car pulled in next to the hotel, wrinkling her nose slightly at the blaring music. After a quick once over of the man as he stepped out, she looked back down, deciding he wasn't really worth worrying about. Gave her a slightly odd feeling in her gut, but she could worry later.

"Dude, what song was that?" Aggy's voice drew her out of her thoughts, and she huffed a sigh, telling him she had no clue. "You should-"

"Why would I go ask him what song he was listening to, Aggy? That has to be the stupidest thing ever. No." "Not even if I offer to pay for dinner?" "….you are the absolute worst, you hell spawn."

Grumbling to herself, the Nephilim stood, brushing her dark hair back from her face as she tucked her things away. Slipping back into the lobby, she scanned around for the man who'd stepped out of the car, eyes narrowing without even thinking about it as she spotted him. She kind of looked like she was on her way to kill someone, as she stepped up behind him and tapped his shoulder. "Excuse me, sir." Her accent softened her vowels, adding a certain posh-ness to her voice that was startling when someone actually got a look at her.

@croccin-champagne

"My friend wants to know what song you were listening to. Just as you pulled up." Nevaeh said, crossing her arms under her chest as a 'hi there!' sounded from the phone in her hand. Her pale eyes met his without hesitation, gaze just a bit too intense for most normal people.

@croccin-champagne

"Oh, hell yeah. That one's goin' on the playlist. Hey, Neve, tell him he has a hot voice-"

"I'm hanging up on you now, hellspawn. I will see you up at the room." Without waiting for him to speak again, she hung up on the demon, rolling her eyes. "Please excuse him. On another note, either those are coloured contacts on your eyes, or ghosts aren't the only things in this building I should be worried about."

@croccin-champagne

She eyed his hand for a moment with an appraising gaze, before taking it. Her grip was firmer than expected, and she shook exactly once before letting go. "Nevaeh Regan. Call me Regan. It would appear you are right. Anything specific bring you here, or just the place in general?" She asked, rubbing at a tickle on her cheek. There was a scratch there, not too worrisome, but deep enough to bleed. And the blood she'd just smeared was what was tickling her cheek.

@croccin-champagne

"It happens." Nevaeh said simply, shrugging a shoulder as she wiped at the blood. "And I might have to agree again. The seventh floor and up have the worst history, it would seem. And the worst energy. You are here for the suicides, right? And not the reported serial killer visits?"

@SupernaturalSyGuyIsTIred group

Namys' eyes shone brightly at the mention of the serial killer connection.
"I have a theory that the same dark power may have slightly influenced Richard Ramirez, aka 'The Night Stalker' during his stay here in 85, and later Jack Unterweger in 91."

He picks his bags up again, and moves closer to the check-in desk where he asks for a room up on the 7th floor.

@croccin-champagne

"Do you have any clue what that entity might be? My first thought was just a really nasty ghost, but…" Nevaeh trailed off, her brows furrowing in what was obviously a thinking face. "You're on our floor." She commented, as the clerk handed him his keys. "Right across the hall, actually."

@SupernaturalSyGuyIsTIred group

"It might be a ghost, but we won't know for sure until we narrow things down," he says, and falls silent for a while as he steps into an elevator. It might be a god.

"Hellspwan," he whispers to himself, and returns his attention to Nevaeh. "Working with a demon is… unconventional…. Why are you here?"

@croccin-champagne

"Unconventional, yes. Most people do not pick up on that though." She said, shrugging a shoulder. "I am here for the same thing. Looking into the hotel." Liar. "Aggy came with, because he's my hunting partner. Something about mortals being stupid and reckless, I think."
