(Imma join, but post my character tomorrow. Is that okay?)
(That's fine! :) )
( :0 RIVER!)
Name: Lyre Aetos
Age: 15
Quirk: Siren (Note: Comes with the wings, talons and voice of a siren)
Hero name: Songstress
Appearance: 5' 11" with tan-ish skin and a very angular silhouette. She has the wings of an eagle sprouting out of her back and bird-like legs past her knee. Her brown hair is styled in a choppy, and also quite spiky, bob with frosted tips. She has charcoal blue eyes with star-like white flecks in them. She also has fang-like, shiny, canines and stiletto-style nails; her nails are painted matte black. She tends to wear a gothic black dress or a black sweater and jeans when not in uniform.
Personality: Lyre is quite solitary, liking her own company more than others. She is also quite cold and petty, but is subtle with any aggression she may have. She doesn't believe in second chances or love and can be brutally honest with her opinions sometimes.
Backstory: When Lyre was young, she lived in the limelight. However, as she grew older and her quirk proved to be pretty bland, she ended up overshadowed by others. She grew cold to the people who had scorned her but didn't let it control her life. Instead of turning to the dark side, she worked to hone her sirenic voice to her advantage. Hearing about the UA auditions, she chose to sign up for them. Being accepted, Lyre decided to put her all into it.
Motivations: 90% pettiness
Strengths: Great at persuasion & strong-willed
Weaknesses: Apathetic & Morally Gray
Sexuality: Aro Ace
(She's in! If you wanna start, we can!)
(Unless anyone wants to join before we do, sure!)

(Really is, huh? Nice character, by the way.)
(uwu thanks. She's a Sanscest ship kid i made lol)
(Oh cool.)
(thx)
(Should we start now?)
(Yeah, we can!)
(Do you want to post the starter or should I?)
(If you are okay with doing so, I would appreciate it since I'm a bit out of ideas)
It had been roughly a day since the entrance exam and the newly accepted students were settling into their dorms. Tomorrow would be the first day of class, as today was a Sunday. The returning students already knew what school would roughly be like this year; well, they knew what would be taught. When you're training to be a hero, you'll find there's often a lot of surprises.
Nonetheless, it was so far unknown what the new students would bring to the table. Sure, they had been seen using their quirks in the entrance exam, but you really never knew how much they would evolve during the school year. Students were expected to at least try to get along with their classmates, since they could end up fighting villains with any one of them.
(It's a small starter, I know. I pulled a lot of inspiration out of the dead thread's starter.)
(It's fine!)
Sun-mi had been prepared for this day for a while, glad that it finally came. Following in her older brother's footsteps, she had an idea of what to expect. She was also incredibly skilled with her quirk as she would usually train with her brother despite the slight age difference. All that hard work had finally paid off, and she had been accepted into the school of her dreams. After she had finished moving things into her dorm, she called her brother to inform him of how she was doing. After a while, she decided she may try to get a head start on socializing with her classmates, knowing that maintaining good relationships with them was important.
Meanwhile Jay had no intentions on socializing with the fellow students. He knew quite a few of them had seen his quirk in action during the exams, but he only worried that he would be disliked. He was rather happy to have been accepted, but he had no idea how the school year would play out. He hoped to make friends, but he didn't want to be around anyone all at the same time. It would truly depend on who was willing to get close to him.
(Just establishing what they're up to before the first day to introduce characters)
Lyre sat in her dorm, which she had finished decorating just a few minutes ago, fiddling with a handful of coins. Thinking about it, she had only used the mutant aspect of her odd quirk during the exam. Robots can't exactly be charmed and it's not like it helps that much in a race, it could possibly even be classified as cheating. She honestly wondered how the other students, and the teachers, would react to the emitter aspect of her quirk. She got up, placing her coins back in their jar and stretching. She honestly didn't know what would happen this year, but she would put her all into it.
(BTW, Lyre has LED lights around her ceiling and a deep-sea theme to her room. There's a lot of black and blue.)
(HEY WHY’D YOU START WITHOUT MEH 😭)
There was a student missing from the class. An empty desk in the front of the class stood, missing the student.
(Sorry.)
(😤😤)
(Sorry…? I should've waited for your opinion, to be fair)
(It’s okay. You can go ahead. I won’t be on for a month or so bc I’m grounded)
