Kami flinched but never backed away from the yelling “ I just want to help you okay?” he said a bit pissy and slammed his locker, walking away
Kami hated the yelling and screaming, he wouldn't talk to the other when he yelled usually, even before they knew each other
Bakugo didn't seem to care that Kaminari walked away from him. He just yelled after the other, expressing more of his anger as he did so. However, he secretly felt bad about what he had done, so he texted the other an apology once no one was around.
Sorry.
The message was simple, without much context. It was a sincere apology, but Bakugo didn't want to admit that he was apologizing for anything, so he only sent a quick "Sorry" before ending his text.
Kami ignored the text, one of the few times he was pissed. He busted open kiris door and flopped down on his bed “mmmm”
Kirishima glanced at Kaminari, a bit worried by how angry he seemed. "Did something happen, dude?" he asked. "You seem incredibly angry right now…"
“Bakugo.” was all he said
"What did he do this time?" Kirishima asked, seeming to be rather angry. "He didn't hurt you, did he?"
“ no, he's just being a dick” he said and sighed, curling up to kiri “ why do I always fall for someone who hates me..” he whined
Kirishima sighed softly. "I dunno, man…" he sighed. "Maybe you just think he's a nice guy deep down. Hard to tell when the only emotion he'll express is anger…"
Bakugo sighed as he realized that Kaminari read his text but never responded. He decided to text again.
It pains me to say this, but I'm truly sorry for what I did earlier. I apologize for yelling at you.
Denki looked at his Phone and sighed, texting his back “okay Bakugo, thank you” he said politely
You're welcome? I don't usually apologize, but I meant that.
Kirishima glanced at Denki. "So, what was that about?" he asked. "Is everything okay?"
“ he's apologizing “ he said and handed his phone kiri “ will you talk for me, I'm getting some food real quick”
Kirishima nodded as he took Denki's phone. He decided to text Bakugo, but he wasn't going to respond if the other texted again. He was glad that Bakugo apologized, though.
Kami got food for both him and kiri “ wanna invite the gang for game night? “ he asked as he brought back some shrimp n’ noodles
Kirishima nodded. "Yeah, that sounds like a good idea," he replied. "And it seems that Bakugo truly meant his apology, so you must mean something to him since he actually said he's sorry for yelling."
Kami chuckled, taking his phone back and sending the invites. He hesitated at Bakugo's name but sent the invite anyway. He yawned softly after eating and got dressed in his super suit, heading out onto the training field, his eyes glancing at Bakugo. A light flush on his face flittered but faded quickly
Bakugo was intensely focused on his training. He seemed determined to become better than Deku, and it was clear from how hard he was pushing himself. He made sure that any explosions that he created would be powerful, pushing himself quite a bit to do so. He could occasionally be heard yelling, though it seemed to be out of anger,
Denki was been training hard as well, but it was taking a greater toll since he was more tired than usual. About halfway through his body was shaking and he was holding his head. He could feel the brain cells burning each time he let out a bolt of lightning
Bakugo noticed this as he continued training, but he pretended not to notice as Denki continued to train. He was secretly a bit concerned, but he worried that other people would notice, so he said nothing about it. They didn't need to see that he was capable of caring for other people.
Kami went through training against Deku, which on his part was probably a bad idea. As the golden blonde collapsed halfway through
Denki looked up from being on his stomach. He slowly lifted himself up and stood “again.” he said to Deku.
"I know we both want to be pros, but are you okay?" Deku asked him. "If you're about to collapse, maybe we should take a break. We can train later, you know…"
Bakugo watched them interact with each other. The mere sight of Deku angered him, so he forgot about Kaminari for a moment as he continued training, rage fueling everything that he did.
“No, I have to push past my limit to build up.” he said, looking over at Bakugo a second before launching a bolt of lightning
Deku sighed. "If you say so… I understand how that works, but still."
Bakugo watched them fight for a moment, using it to fuel more of his training. The pure hatred that he felt towards Deku kept him going.
After a few, Denki gave in, burning the last of his brain cells and falling to a knee like usual. He was in a rough state but holding up a thumb.
He always did that. While everyone laughed at him.. He meant it to tell his closest friends that he was still there in his mind. Kiri knew that if kami burnt to his limit and didn't hold up a thumb that something was wrong or he'd forgotten himself…
"You did good today," Deku told him before leaving. He decided to give the other some time to recover alone.
Bakugo noticed Deku leave, so he calmed down a bit, but he continued to train for a little bit longer since he wanted to be sure that there was no one nearby before he would go check on Kaminari. He was truly a bit worried about the other, even if he seemed to be doing fine, but he'd never admit it to anyone.
Kami had recovered enough to recognize that most everyone had left, not enough to move from the sitting position Kiri had helped him into.
