(It's up to you, who starts first.)
(Personally, I think it makes the most sense for the white rabbit to go first. But that's just me.)
(Alice should go first)
(No it’s okay I’ll start writing something, it would make sense for the WR to start)
(Okay. Thank you!)
(Wait, has he already kidnapped Alice at this point or should we do the bit at the start where he finds her asleep and whatnot?)
(Umm for the sake of getting everyone in sooner we might want to start after he kidnapped her.)
Through a large patterned window in the foyer of the Red Queen's castle, the never-setting sunset shone a blood red hue over the White Rabbit's face. He was staring, just staring, at the girl he had laid down on a chaise lounge. She looked so peaceful, so innocent and pure, just lying there unconscious, though Peter knew she wouldn't stay like that for long. It was only a matter of time before she woke up and would start talking. Oh how he longed to hear her talk! Every word that came from Aliana's—no, Alice's—mouth was like a babbling brook that he could have listened to all day. No matter how harsh a storm her words may bring, he always found comfort listening to her.
Why did she refuse to come with him, didn't she know she would be happy by his side? If only he could show her how happy he could make her…
Too late to think about that now, he could see her starting to rouse.
Aliana slowly woke up and blinked trying to figure out where she was. She had been in the garden taking a nap and now she was somewhere different. Had the rabbit telling her to follow him not been a dream? The more she woke up the more she realized this wasn't a dream. She wasn't in the garden instead somewhere in a building? With a lot of stained glass?
She spotted a strange man staring at her and she scrambled to sit up. The more she looked at him the more she noticed. The little rabbit ears, the possible strange colored eyes, a lot like the rabbits… No, that couldn't be possible. This person couldn't be the rabbit that was impossible! But, she had to know. She cleared her throat and tried not to let her voice shake, "Who are you? Where am I? What happened?"
A warm, comforting smile graced Peter's lips as he knelt down on one knee before Alice, clasping one of her hands with his. "My dear, one question at a time, please." From the angle he was knelt at, the crimson light fell on half of his face, but not enough so that his eyes would be drowned out. Just as well really, he wanted to see his Alice without any filters or clouded vision.
"I am the White Rabbit, but you can just call me Peter if you like, and this is the delightful home of Her Majesty, the Red Queen Vivian. As for what happened…" There was no way he could tell her the truth, she would surely hate him! Though he didn't want to hurt his little Alice should she find out the truth later on—what a predicament! Peter took a deep breath, tilting his head slightly and putting on a more sympathetic expression while he started to twist the truth. "Well I'm not sure how you arrived in Wonderland, but I found you asleep by a tree while out for a walk and thought it would be best to bring you here. There are some shady folks out there, I didn't want someone as youthful as yourself being hurt in any way."
(I've just edited my response.)
(May have just realized no one took the character of Mary Gowland so I guess I'll just play him.)
"I, wonderland? I was asleep in my garden not under a tree in Wonderland," Aliana responded pulling her hand out of his. She didn't know this man and certainly did not want him touching her at this moment. She may be young and naive, but she was not stupid. This man, Peter, he called himself the white rabbit. Maybe… She paused for a moment before making her accusation though it pained her a little to do so, "You said you were the white rabbit? The same white rabbit I saw in my garden that told me to follow them?"
Crap! He hadn't counted on her remembering that, and he was a fool for revealing that he was the rabbit. As Alice removed her hand from him, the man sighed painfully. His smile faded from his lips while his head turned away from the girl, he didn't want her to look at him anymore—he was disgusting, and someone as pure as Alice shouldn't have to soil her eyes with the likes of him… Peter's voice came out as a whisper, though his sentence broke at the very start as if he were genuinely pained. "I did what I had to do."
She could hate him, she could want him dead, but not once would Peter let anything harm Alice. The girl was his everything, and while he was such a vile creature who didn't deserve to be in her presence, he still wanted to keep her safe no matter what. Alice wasn't safe in Wonderland. Peter stood up with a sigh and looked down at the girl.
"Love does evil things to a person, things that we are not always proud of…" No, this isn't how he wanted to tell her! She would reject him here, and there's no telling how his clock would handle that!
Aliana frowned a little as she watched him. She curled up a little on the lounge she had been placed on. He had brought her here there was no other explanation. Why had he brought her here? Her eyes widened slightly as he started his next sentence with the L-word. He had only seen her there was no way for him to love her. Is that why he, took, her? Because he loved her?
She moved away from him still curled up. Her emotions were a mix of fear and guilt. Fear because she in a strange place with a strange man who took her. Guilt because she was clearly making him uncomfortable in some way and it hurt her to do so. She paused a moment before responding, "Y-You took me from my home. Why? Because you, love me?"
"The reason for which I took you is a lot more complicated than that, I just did what I had to do." Something about the fear in Alice's eyes stirred a new feeling inside of Peter, a bad feeling. A wicked feeling. Something like a shadow crossed his eyes as he reached out his hand towards her. He pulled his hand back, clenching his fingers into a fist that he lay to rest by his side. No, why was he stopping? Peter wanted to show Alice how disgusting he was, he wanted to do something that he knew he shouldn't do because it would make her uncomfortable, and yet the love that he felt for the girl prevented him. He thought for a moment, then pulled a glass bottle filled with a luminous pink liquid from the pocket of his jacket.
"If you want to return home, you must drink this." As he held the bottle in his hand, a dangerous glimmer appeared in the White Rabbit's eyes. That liquid was not to be trusted and he knew it, but he wanted Alice to stay with him. He needed Alice to stay with him.
Aliana only grew more fearful of this bunny man as he continued to talk with her. From his actions to his overall mannerisms. She didn't trust him and when she looked at the bottle she didn't believe him. There was no way that bottle let her go back home, not if the glint in his eyes tell her anything. Yet, there was some part of her that wanted to trust and believe him. That the bottle would take her home, however, her fear won over any thought of forgiveness she had. She pulled away from him further and shook her head, "I, I don't believe you. You, you aren't answering my questions and now after kidnapping me you, you want me to trust you and drink this? I, No. I won't drink it."
"You misunderstand, my dear." Peter knelt back down, this time a little too close to the little Alice. There was no malice in his eyes, the dangerous glimmer had been replaced by something akin to awe as he took in every detail of her face , her hands, and her body posture. "You will drink it." He popped the cork from the bottle and emptied the contents into his mouth. He was doing what needed to be done, he told himself, as much as he hated to make his Alice uncomfortable. With the liquid in his mouth, he swiftly leaned towards the girl and pressed his lips forcefully against hers. She needed to drink it.
Aliana kept pushing away from him until she couldn't anymore. She was in shock as he kissed her forcefully before attempting to push him off of her. But it was too late as the foreign liquid pushed past her lips and she was forced to swallow it. She was eventually successful and got him off of her and before slipping out from under him so she could stand up. She wiped at her mouth as she looked at him shaking, "What? What did you do?"
That liquid wasn't going to be sending her home anytime soon, Peter knew that from the beginning. "You will be staying in Wonderland until the bottle fills up to the point where it overflows." How it would get to that point, however, was something that Peter couldn't prevent, although he could twist things up a little bit. "How that happens is something you need to discover on your own, if you truly want to return home that is."
Peter gingerly rose two fingers to his lips; lips that ached to experience the softness of Alice again. He silently rose to his feet, brushing down his clothes. A furious blush ignited his cheeks while his mind reeled with hundreds, if not thousands, of scenarios he would like to be in with his Alice. He didn't care what he had to, he wanted her. That forceful kiss was enough to tip him just off the edge a little.
The silent foyer soon began to echo with the melodic cackling of the White Rabbit. "Oh this is precious!" He took a moment to let out everything he had before coming to an abrupt halt. Peter's fingers twitched as he made his way towards her, as he reached out to touch her again. This time he didn't stop himself and he roughly grabbed Alice by the wrist, pulling her close to his body, while his other hand wrapped around the back of her waist. "You have more spunk than I anticipated." he murmured, staring down into her eyes with a dazed look. "Do it again, stain your hands with my vile form. Push me away. Show me your fire, Alice."
Aliana tried to get away before he grabbed her, but she realized she couldn't run from the room yet. She needed to get that bottle from him before she could get out of here. More information on how to fill the bottle up, but she didn't think she would get that from him. He clearly wanted her to stay here. Though her heart was pounding as she was pulled close to him.
Everything about him frightened her. From his cackle to his aggressive mannerisms. He didn't even call her by the right name! She didn't want to give in to his sick fantasy by pushing him away again but there was no way she could slip out as easily. She tried pulling away from him the effort evident in her voice as her free hand tried to reach for the empty bottle, "Get away from me!"
(Bump?)
(Hey guys.)
Peter’s eyes suddenly softened, he looked almost stunned as he looked over the girl and her distress filled eyes. He jerked away from her, disgusted with himself.
“Forgive me, Aliana.” his voice echoed throughout the foyer, though really it was nothing more than a pained mumble.
How could he let himself do that to her, to the girl he so desperately wanted to care for? For the first time since he had seen Aliana, he could think clearly.
He looked down at the bottle in his hand, greatly tempted to throw it on the ground in a fit of self-hate, but instead he held it out towards her. “Take it. Go.”
Sometimes, when you love someone, you need to do what’s best for them no matter how much your heart tells you otherwise——and this was exactly what Peter was going to do. Sure, he wanted his Alice to stay, but it would have been nicer to see her happy rather than with the fear she was currently wearing.
This didn’t mean he was giving up on her, not by any means, but he wanted her to be happy even if it meant she would leave him someday.
