There's nothing wrong with that at all! I think it's good the Stranger Things is getting the name of D&D out there for others to join in! I have been doing D&D for about two years now actually and I'm excited about all these people joining in to be honest, even if it is something like Stranger Things. It is helping grow our community. I don't think it's silly at all! You have the opportunity to show people the game thanks to this TV show! I love Stranger Things and I love D&D and I was so happy when my friends asked to join my campaign after watching Stranger Things. There is nothing wrong with wanting to join D&D because you watched Stranger Things.

@mistress-0f-n0ne, I agree! As someone who's been playing for a couple of years now, it's super nice to see more people want to join the games, whether its from things like the McElroys and TAZ or Stranger Things. Just means I have more people to play with ^^;
