So, my friends and I started a DnD campaign. My character is a Warlock, Scourge Aasimar. I can't figure out how the otherworldly patron works, so please, somebody help me!!!

O.O I can help. I might have to respond to the advice later, though. Any specific questions? Or should I tell you all I know?
(I'm playing a Human Warlock (Pact of the Fiend-I worship and draw my spells from a demon,) so I got you :D)

I need help with the mechanics of the otherworldly patron. I know who I wamt my patron to be, but I don't know how it works.
