At first you'd think, yeah of course they're creatures but think about it. Some dragons are just as intelligent as humans and can form societies of their own. Plus in my world there are some characters who are dragons and while creating a character you can only link a race, not a creature.
Well, it depends on what type of dragon they are. From what you're saying, I would call them a race. Now, if they were the kind that go off of instincts only, then I would call them creatures.

i agree. i'm fascinated by them
I'm using creatures for biological species, and races for ethnicities/cultural groups. And for linking in character pages I just made a new field and hid the old one so I can link any page type I want. Hope this helps :) In the end, it's all up to you!
I have two types of dragons. One is considered a race because they're (debatably) intelligent and the other is a creature because they're just beasts. I think it depends on whether they have a society however primitive
It depends on their role in the world - if they speak, partake in politics or are treated with the same respect to humans then I'd say they were a race, but if they aren't very intelligent then they would probably be classed as a creature.
It depends, if intelligent, then they're a race, if they're beasts, then they would be a creature, in my opinion.
