Yuki-Onna (Japanese)
Kitsune (Also Japanese)
Fae (Irish, Cornish, Welsh)
Spriggans ( Cornish)
Abyzou (Christianity demon who is like a different version of Lillith?)
Wendigo (Algonquin legends and myths)
Skinwalkers (Navajo legends)
Pincoy/Pincoya (mermaid I believe)
Dijin (like genies but more evil)
My story uses the title 'spirit' to mean a wide variety of things. Demons, angels, fae, nymphs and deceased mortal souls are all referred ro as 'spirits'.
There are spirits of the land and wilderness, the air and skies, the water and seas, thunder/lightning, peace, war, fertility/birth, death, plague/pestilence, domestic spirits (that's spirits that pertain to cleanliness and civility not spirits that have been tamed), love spirits, unclean/spirits, underworld spirits, lesser abstract spirits and greater abstract spirits (basically dieties).
