So a couple years ago, I created a “world” where all the monsters would go. Since I was little, I made the king of the world Foxy from Fnaf because I wasn’t original.
Recently, I started thinking about it again, and I want to create an original king, but I need help. I want it to be super creepy with a humanoid body. But idk where to start
DEMON. Make it a demon. That is my only suggestion.
Seriously though, start with what kind of monster you want, like a Minotaur, dragon, etc.
So, for creepiness, maybe start with it being recognizable as a normal, cute kind of animals from afar, like a silhouette who looks like a kitten but once you can see it fully it has bright yellow/red eyes, fangs and patches of scales and torn wings. Something that looks terrible up close but from a distance is mistaken. If you take a naturally adorable animal (Like a kitten or a penguin) and add scary features from other animals, maybe playing with sizes and even giving it powers that other monsters wouldn't have. Give it a feeling of being scarred to a point of horror to show how strong this monster is and how it hasn't healed because it doesn't need to heal.
