so i created this creature as a school project where we had to create a animal that could survive in cold and hot climates and i have decided to share it with you all and see if you had any ideas to improve it. also can someone tell me how to put a picture on here. ive tried everything i know and nothing is working.

THE WOLFWING:

The wolfiwng is an animal capable of migrating between hot deserts and polar ice caps. this allows them to live in either climate.
In hotter climates the wolfwings fur and feathers shed too keep itself cool. it also has thick soles on its feet to protect them from the burning hot ground/sand and also keeps its feet protected when walking on the snow. when the ground is too hot for its feet the wolfwing flys to high altitudes to cool down in the air. During the day the wolfwing uses its large tail as shade from the sun. At night the wolfwing sleeps in a underground burrow and also sleeps underground during the day.
In colder climates the wolfwing grows two layers of thick fur the first layer is a water proof barrier and the second layer is to keep the wolfwing warm in the cold. the wolfwing also grows a mane of feathers to trap the air properly when it puffs up its feathers to keep warm. At night the wolfwing digs in the snow to create a insulated air pocket to sleep and uses it's wings and tail as if to wrap itself in a blanket

@Zandra2119

How does it migrate? When does it migrate? Does it make his own burrow by digging? What does it eat? Do they go in packs? Do they go off on their own when old enough?
Just some questions I always ask myself in addition to ones you’ve already accomplished. The WolfWing sounds amazing and very cool!!

Very nice! Is it a mammal or a birdlike creature? If it's more like a bird, it would not have fur per se, but it would likely have thin feathers that resembled fur and downy feathers as well. If it's a mammal, it may have to have batlike wings but with fur on them in the colder climate. Those are just suggestions, though, it's totally up to you ^^ Great work overall!
