Just what the title says; What are your characters doing on Thanksgiving?
I kinda doubt that this post will go very far, but eh, whatever, I love reading what other people's characters would do on holidays.

Colby Ryfften: Sleeps in until 1pm and waits for the food to be ready. Once it is, she will eat it all then fall into a food coma.
Haru Akahoshi: Wants to stay home with his mom to celebrate, but his mom forced him to leave the house and be with friends. His mom doesnt know how to cook, so after he celebrates with friends, he goes to the store to pick up some stuffing, a Turkey sandwich, instant mashed potatoes, and a slice of pumpkin pie to make a mini feast for his mom.
Rueben Fraust: He's in charge of the cooking for the most part. He makes everything from scratch, and sources most his food from Arson's garden harvest. He also brings his nice set of china and wine glasses to properly celebrate with nice dishes.
Evangeline Landis: She has been put in charge of the simplist of tasks; the stuffing. She's not trusted in the kitchen, especially to Rueben, but she insists on helping out.
Donna Bianchi: Doesn't celebrate it, but instead joins the indigenous peoples in their mourning.
Arson Archer: Hates the thought of celebrating this day, but they'll still eat with their friends and supply them with vegetables and fruit from their garden.
(I have more, but I'll add them later)
Sophie: Trying her best not to crack after cooking 69 dishes (half she doesn't even like) and dealing with house guest
Ava: Spend the break sleeping and eating, she did make something for her aunt during thanksgiving
Charlie: Had a simple dinner with his parents before his mom was called to work because someone swallowed a wish bone
Lucas: Made an entire feast for himself
(Kinda thinking about this like a big event context btw but still works)
Pike: Probably helping to manage the food and general organization of the dinner, thats even if she decides to show up and even the probably won't be interacting with people much to avoid family talk. Actually paces herself with food so she has room dessert
Otis: Trying to keep the peace between people if things get heated, eats a little too much and probably gets a stomach ache but he wanted to try what everyone made. Also keeps the kids included and makes sure none of them dies.
Zara and Jax: Eating WAAYY too much, probably passing out before dessert. Was a mistake not a regret.
Ember: Talking with as many people as possible, always asking what people are grateful for and generally being innocent, she wouldn't eat much since she's a picky eater but you bet your sweet ass she's trying to eat a whole pie despite adults telling her its a bad idea.
Burn: Probably sips on alcohol the whole night and gets a tad bit tipsy, chats with few people and eats a reasonable amount but no dessert like a psychopath
Xavier: Volunteers to wash dishes, really doesn't wanna be around people….
Lea and Esme: Starting petty shit on purpose because "Thanksgiving isn't fun without a lil conflict."
Veronica: Gets into said conflicts
Ruby and Casper: The aesthetic couple that is the most prepared out of everyone, probably made most of the food
Peggy: The Host
Adalynn: BANNED from the kitchen, no matter how good her intentions are, the house will burn down if she is allowed to cook. She set the table and does a FANTASTIC job. prolly makes cute place setting cards.
Seth: in charge of desserts, brings homemade cookies and buys WAY too many pies. Sleeps through the rest of the day after eating WAY too much food.
Sandra: one of the people actually allowed to cook, provided her competitiveness doesn't get out of hand. gets SUPER into the football game and prolly tries to start an eating contest.
Owen: cooks the most, spends like four days preparing for his favorite-est day ever. tried to do the whole "what are we thankful for" before dinner.
Lester: offers to host and use of his kitchen, regrets it immediately. loves watching the others interact but is exhausted by the end of the day. is the most normal out of everyone.
Jasper: wasn't invited, found out who's hosting, crashed the dinner, stole most of the best food, and left. probably made somebody cry before he left.
My villains definitely don't celebrate Thanksgiving, but my heroes sure do!
Simon: They have absolutely no idea what's going on, but they're frantically texting relatives to ask how their mom did Thanksgiving because that was always amazing. They're also tripling all of the recipes because not only do they have to feed ten people, but also three of them are speedsters with extremely fast metabolisms. They casually want to die all day until Dean and CJ kick them out of the kitchen and tell them to relax.
CJ: They always did very formal Thanksgiving and have never done a version of this holiday that didn't involve loud family drama and someone getting screamed at, so they're having a great time. They do assist in kicking Simon out of the kitchen, but it was very fun to try and coax secret family recipes out of both the Marsdens and the Morgans.
Logan: Like CJ, he's never had a particularly fun Thanksgiving. He's helping as much as he can so he won't feel useless, but he's too terrified to screw up something big, so he delegates himself to rolls and vegetables. He only almost breaks down crying, but he ends up having a great time actually feeling like part of a family for once.
Dean: He's never had a real Thanksgiving. He moved around way too much as a kid and they never had enough money to do a nice Thanksgiving meal, so he's mostly just happy that he gets to actually do Thanksgiving for once. He was originally told to sit back so he wasn't thrown headfirst into Thanksgiving Day stress, but he and CJ eventually realized that Simon was dying and they needed to take over. He'd never talked to Simon's family before this, and it was a bit strange trying to get recipes at the same time that they're trying to get as much information on him as humanly possible.
Henry: Thanksgiving was always very big in the Morgan household, so he's in the kitchen all day calling relatives to try and figure out exactly how to make everything. He only gets yelled at a couple times for not being with his "real family", but a lot of those arguments ended promptly with Dean sharing very snarky remarks into the phone. He's also put in charge of the turkey and it's scarily fantastic.
The Team in General: They do watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, but from the comfort of the base. None of them are "stand in the freezing cold for hours on end just to see celebrities up close" people, so they were definitely okay with not crossing the river. Simon really only does it for the Broadway performances, but watching the parade was always a tradition for them, so they're glad they still get to do it. They also donate a ton to a couple Indigenous organizations because fuck the pilgrims :)
What I said last year still mostly applies. To summarize: Naomi did most of the grocery shopping and dragged Kieron along to do the heavy lifting. Brandee and CJ planned dinner well ahead of time, because there was quite the spread (both by necessity and for later convenience) and both of them wanted to get experimental with things like ube and five-spice.
Talula, in their own setting, would probably just have something replicated unless she had company. If she did have company: dinner would be something analogous but not precisely traditional. (Space opera protagonist, remember?) If timey-wimey dimensional weirdness happened to put Talula in the same setting as the above dorks: the theory of narrative causality would require them to end up getting invited by someone and getting dragooned into helping out. (Her Swiss Army appendage prosthetic arm would probably come in handy.)
The Wannabe Evil Archmage stages an expensive dinner party—which is at least partially for the purpose of sub rosa plotting with other wannabe evil archmagi—and pockets a percentage of the proceeds. Nonetheless—because he actually has one or two redeeming traits despite being an utter jerk—some of it actually goes to good causes.
What I said last year still mostly applies.
Oh, I didnt realize there was already a different post, I should have just revived that one. Sorry bout that.

Ehh, it's been inactive and kind of dropped off the radar. And duplicate threads happen on here all the time (especially with the search function down).
I've gots more:
Nex: EXTREMELY confused on what's happening. They have never celebrated a Thanksgiving that was anywhere close to what their friends were preparing. Even if they are overwhelmed, Nex still enjoyed the positive energy that flowed through the day. Nex's normal Thanksgiving during their childhood would look like, a basic dinner with a shitty wine for their parents, and going to bed early to avoid any conflict.
Lucille: All about that holiday spirit and dresses up with holiday colors, decorates everything perfectly, and sets the table with the dishes Rueben brought. She's definitely asking people what they're thankful for.
Luca: He's being a little friend, stealing food from the kitchen and drinking the alcohol he's not allowed to touch since he is underage. Under constant supervision by Teo and Haru, yet he still finds a way to wreak havoc.
Teo: Attempting to make Thanksgiving themed goodie bags for everyone while simultaneously holding a tight leash on Luca (figuratively and possibly literally).
Zinnia: Stays home alone to make herself a small meal to enjoy in silence. She watches history documentaries on the true story of Thanksgiving while also researching for places she can donate money to help the indigenous people. After she does all that, she may visit family and friends, if she's feeling up to it.
stella- makes food, eats food, and will bring the leftovers home 4 u xoxo
frances- dragged by the wrist by liz, eats nothing, talks to no one, wants to scream (I think it would be very loud) but
doesn't and leaves after an hour.
sage- reminds everyone to drink water and not eat too much, would help sneak frances back out
fian- yells over everyone to shut up but just makes it worse. eventually ends up turning on mariokart and getting destroyed
august- brings takeout and everyone compliments him, even the ones who know.
elodie- playing uno with everyones lil siblings/neighbors kids
liz- destroys fian at mariokart whilst simoultaniously (eek bad spelling) destroying small children at uno
Kumi: makes the food, stays in a quiet place with her closest friends and/or with her girlfriend, give gifts to almost everybody, actually stays 1 hour or more until her friends leaves and her girlfriend wants to leave too. Also takes care of the kids.
Maxine: Didn't knew they would get invited, gets bored, gets happy (bc the food is ready), gets bored again, they bring the presents? gets happy again, plays with everyone, makes sure Kumi is feeling well, she gets bored and they leave
