You got ships? Good. Who are they? How did they meet? How does their relationship develop? Where is their favorite place to go on dates? Did they break up and get back together? (i can critique if ya want just say so at the end)

Its between my two main characters Ember and Caiman but its pretty tragic. First of all they never actually confessed their love and near the end Caiman gets infected with a curse disease thing that I'm not gonna go in detail to. Basically he gets turned into a zombie naga and Ember is he only one strong enough to kill him without being infected herself. Later on when facing the main villain who is a shape shifter, she turns into Caiman when Ember faces her. Right before Ember confesses to "Caiman" she realizes that its not really him. Pretty sad but they have a fun dynamic since they are both the more innocent members of my main five, well it starts off that way at least.
Well… I have two ships. Zenith/Jayden (and its later revealed that Jayden is aromantic and Zenith ends up crying) and John/Zenith, which actually is the one not-sad thing (other than meeting his friends) that happens to Zenith.
Zenith is a Bad Boy (read: Bad boy, not abusive jerk), and John is a cinnamon roll. Ironically, John does all the flirting and Zenith is the oblivious one. It's adorable bc John doesn't know how to flirt and ends up using cringy pick up lines. It usually goes like this:
John: Did it hurt?
Zenith: What do you mean by 'it'? Because to be honest, most things in my life hurt.
John: When you fell from heaven.
Zenith: … didn't the devil fall from heaven? Are you calling me Satan? Which, fair, but really? Thats how you choose to say it?
John: Wait no-
Well b u d d y I have a l o t.
My favorite one to write at the moment is between a genderqueer person and two girls. (Is it slightly based on my own? M a y b e)
We've got Taylor (they/them) and this is their first relationship, they're chaotic, but pretty shy when it comes to expressing their thoughts.
Morgan (she/her) and she's hypersexual and hyperromantic. She's the flirty one of the group and always makes the others flustered.
Caite (She/her, a trans woman) is the shyest. She's a musician and makes indie music. She's the oldest, but really doesn't seem it.
Oh, and Taylor is an evil organization's weapon, Morgan is the head of a mafia, and Caite is the chosen one.
Most of my ships are super unofficial but here ya go (and not all are romantic ships)
Samuel and Cameron: The ultimate bromance
Roshia and Cecelia: The forbidden affair
Alice and Tyler: The two that want to love each other but know it won't work out
Cameron and Carter: "Universoul" The redhead and the Asian
Nikita and Alice: The two that everyone wants to see get together but it's not gonna happen
yoyoyo these are great- my ships are honestly just trash- like, t r a s h
I have two ships:
Aerwyn and Cypher:-
Basically my story is about an assassins guild and they, along with my other ship, are the best trained in the entire guild. Cypher was supposed to be killed by his first girlfriend, who was a contract killer but spared his life because she loved him, but they ended up falling in love. His fors girlfriend was killed for not completing her assignment and Aerwyn became friends with him. Sparrow, one part of my other ship, and him started dating because the guy she actually liked, didnt want to fate her for the time being. She they were together for a year before deciding they were better as friends. Cypher and Aerwyn became closer and ended up dating
Sparrow and Rowan:-
Rowan is a fairly quiet dude and Sparrow is the complete opposite. She is basically a gryffindor whereas Rowan is a hufflepuff. After she confessed to Cyoher that she liked him, he told her he didnt want to break her heart so he wouldn't date her. Sparrow, embarrassed and upset, complained to Cypher, who had just lost his first girlfriend, and they ended up dating. After a year they realized it wasnt working like it should and they broke up. Rowan learned this and ended up asking Sparrow to be his girlfriend. She agreed and they started dating
ima just put mine out there here we gooooo~~~
-Edgy school delinquent falls for soft conspiracy theorist
-s w o r d l e s b i a n s
-wildly gender fluid god falls for the most trashiest piece of shit this world has to offer
-patron goddess tragically in love with her worshiper, who is not interested
(Imma just say all my ships are from webtoons but here goes)
~I don't know which to ship - Ran and Eggy, or Ran and Olfie (Eggnoid)
~Definitely Sam and Marshall, my Sam and Link ship was ruined (Let's Play)
~Lyra and Shon. (Siren's Lament)
Godfried and Brunhilde- This is in my fantasy world with inspiration from Medieval England, Scandinavia and Asia. Godfried was the son of a mapmaker who travelled the world making expert artistic maps for higher-ups. Godfried was 14 when he and his father were in Klaith (Scandinavia based) when he met Brunhilde a young woman training to become a shieldmaiden. They have had a strong casual romance ever since. Godfried moved away from Klaith to train to become a master swordsman and 6 years later he becomes a monster hunter. The Lantern Order was formed to organise fight the world of monsters and Godfried joined as quickly as he could. Every now and then he would return to Klaith to kill something. Every time he did he and Brunhilde spent as much time as they had together before Godfried had to return. On his last trip there they got engaged and now he's caught in a war against the Haunted Forest before he can return to the love of his life. He's 42 at this point. So the charm of the couple comes from them just waiting to get married even though they have been basically spiritually married for decades. So they're just waiting for the chance to put everything behind them and settle down because they have earned it.

Jesus Christ you're worse than me. I had a ship where I delayed the relationship as long as possible, and all the times when the two showed any affection they were extremely sick/ drunk/ a mix of the two/ "joking around" and then once they do start dating we have one of the dudes get sucked into an alternate reality for a few weeks and when they come back their bf is pretty much dead for a good three months. I have them get back on their feet though and both of them live through all the shit and raise four kids and a mean old cat uwu
To sum it up—
Man likes girl
Other man likes same girl
First man gets shot and dies
Girl is pregnant somehow
Other man helps raise child
Child is the child of the first man
Sounds like a riddle but it’s not
Other book—
Girl likes man
Man likes her back
Audience is ripping their hair out because they want them to get together
Do they?
No
Another book—
Boy doesn’t like girl
Girl doesn’t like boy
Audience loves them both and wants them to get together
Do they?
Again, no
Instead she dates his brother
**cackles in author**
You sick son of a bitch
Am I being annoying… Well, here we go… (from my story, btw)
Hans and Isla: childhood friends, have the same job and in the same team (lets call them the paranormal police) both of them are huge nerds, are too stressed, run on caffeine and can't manage to acknoledge their feelings despite being way too obvious…
Eli and Aura: Isla's parents, met around late 70s early 80s, bonded over nerdy-geeky stuff and cryptids, also on the same team (paranormal police again) got married, had Isla and now are like everyone's mom and dad.
Penny and Yuka: (Penny is Eli's sister btw) Met by accident, boy meets girl, girl accidentaly punches him, they become friends, bond over weirdness, end up married and adopted two kids.
I got more but some of those characters are dead and they only appear on flashbacks…
Alice & Alex- (It is really hard to say their names in a sentence but worth it) SLOOOOOOOOOOOW, Childhood friends. Move away. Years later they meet in a mall with a common friend.
Lyla & Kyle- (Again pain to say but worth it) Kyle is Tsundere. Lyla is more a Yandere. Kyle has to attempt to kill Lyla. Lyla knew this. Lyla assists him to kill better. Family who wanted him to kill her now ship.
Kody & Xander- Became friends due to mutual friends older bro, who is friends with Kody's older bro. Bond over the one friend having volleyball with Kody. Idk. . . I didn't really think this one all that well through.
Marshall & Shiro- (To all the Haikyuu!! Fans out there who will get this (if not look up the anime on Netflix it's a good watch)) Pretty much Oikawa+Iwa. . .
Jamie & Lily.
to be frank, its a hell hole of a ship. Jamie is a schizophrenic and was abused for murdering her mother and sister. Lily is a psycho and is manipulative but loves Jamie. Jamie trusts only Lily (let me refraise, she trusts the only person that has ever loved, not manipulated, and cared for her) and and is kinda clingy but what else would you expect from someone who was raped by their last affair? they met in a tree (very romantic i know) and their relationship is a lot of "it's okay, i'm right here"s, "i'm sorry, i love you. this is all my fault"s, and a lot of making out.
Irod & Charlie.
this is very sweet, but sad. Irod was abused for a few years until she escaped and lived alone. Irod is very emotional, weak, and traumatized. Charlie was put down by her brother and she feels like she has to do everything right. Charlie met Irod at the bar, became friends, then lovers, then a married couple. Their relationship is a lot of "shhh… iv'e got you.. no one's hurting you.."s, "it's never your fault.. you always blame yourself."s, and a LOT of crying, alcohol, and promises.
My 4 characters are having one hell of a love square. Mostly made up of "bros being bros" and "dude please I need another bag of cheetos." It starts off with a dude named lovien, who has a crush on his best friend. Troll quadrants are stupid, so he has some sort of pale lovers fever. The bro doesn't even notice, being one who barely fits into the square. Monova, the only female, makes up some straight (scratch that, better) ships. Canonically in a troll pale quadrant with Vixovi, some bruised up tank of a cinnamon roll, who has a suspiciously close bro relationship with Lovien. Monova and Lovien are in aggressive spades, but on and off. This also can lead to Vix and Tal (the bro) to act as mediators for a clubs quadrant. So to sum up this mess I've created, nobody can decide on a quadrant and the romance don't stop. Side note, Lovien and Tal + Monova and Lovien are more close to the more official ships. The rest are probably just gigantic roadblocks. (I can't believe I wrote this.)
Jillena/ Zilla and Jaece
tO eLaBoRaTe…
Zilla is a Valian soldier, and she's on the non-magic side of the war, on a government mission to find a spy from the other side.
Jaece was born and raised as a Syr soldier, using magic for everything in life. He's seen Valians as the sworn enemy but lately has started to realize that they aren't as bad as he thought them to be after meeting one for the first time on an undercover mission across the border.
Zilla finds out that the war spy she's been looking for this whole time was her partner (Jaece). It's in the heat of a battle and the last thing he ever does is tells her he was wrong, before sacrificing himself so she could escape.
It was hard for me to write, but I loved their relationship while it lasted and yeah…that's that.
Calix and Vasilios are boyfriends, Haven't figured out how they met but Vasilios sold his soul for his cat and became a demon and Calix is an angel and they love eachother. Calix can and will kill anyone who hurts vasilios. They have never broken up and they like going to the park on dates. Vasilios has pulled Calix into helping out in animal shelters with him and has adopted several cats which calix couldn't say no to
Forty year old lesbians Scott and Ella, just livin they dream in the mid-midwest. One's a writer, one's a alternative energy company spokesperson. They have seven cats, and probably more on the way. THey met in their late/mid twenties respectively, after Scott had just gotten over a REALLY bad relationship, and Ella realized that oop, she gay af. Which is why she'd never dated until then. They dated casually for a few years, then started to get more serious until one day Ella finally proposed. They lived in Pennsylvania for a while until they moved out to Nebraska to take care of Ella's elderly parents, and just never left, even after her parents passed on. Their favorite date spot is in the hills of Ella's parents farm land , and spoilers, they love each other until the days they both die
Ships, ahh >.>
Narion and Alphonse
Hiryur and Virion
I am the necromancer of discussions.
Volker and Barrett, two asexual characters. One's heteroromantic and the other's biromantic. It all began with Volker pointing a spear against Barrett's throat, but upon putting together some information, he realized Barrett was of no threat (and even if she was, she had no intention to go after him) and only wished to get medicine for her sister. Volker decided to leave her be, but ended up following after her to see what she was doing (which was how he learned of her wanting the medicine) and ended up helping her cover the tracks so that she wouldn't be followed.
Volker in himself isn't too talkative, and expresses himself a lot different compared to a good chunk of people. In fact, he rarely ever talks. Barrett, meanwhile does talk more compared to Volker, but she's still more shy (opposing Volker who will say something when he needs to; Barrett is more hesistant)
The two went separate ways for a while, seeing as Volker had a job to patrol the general area (in which Barrett and her sister were living in, though unable to leave due to a number of reasons)
Their relationship was more slow build, with Volker being the first to realize his feelings but not the first to express them, while Barrett questioning herself several times over but finally deciding she would come out with it when she met up with him again. She was the first of the two to bring her feelings into the open (betraying her shy nature, momentarily) and he accepted.
cracks knuckles alright here we go
Thailah & Darian: They were arranged to be married and, each despising the idea of forced marriage, ran away. They met and, not realizing who the other was, slowly fell in love.
Isola & Haydan: He had a sort of contest to find a wife of nobility, which his mother arranged. Despite her fairly low status, he quickly began to fall for Isola, and she for him.
Mirai & Eun: He was assigned to guard her room during the previously mentioned contest. They began speaking and very slowly fell for each other, which terrified Mirai because he was considerably below her on the social ladder. With some resistance, she cast aside her status worries to be with someone perfect for her.
Adeline & Jaime: I haven't decided yet if this one's canon or not. When Adeline's father went missing, she teamed up with Jaime, who claimed he had information, to find him. These two have a lot of great chemistry, but I also want to show that girls and boys can be just friends with no feelings involved. (If anyone has an opinion on these two let me know I need help deciding)
Jomei and Cara: Cara's the daughter of a rich doctor, and Jomei's a poor factory worker, the brother of my protagonist. They team up about halfway through the story, and they become friends. Eventually, Cara saves Jomei from something(idk what yet), and Jomei realizes that he has feelings for her. They date steadily for a while, then Cara dies. I like breaking hearts.
most of the first version of this mess of a story is focused around the chaotic relationship between angie (she/her) and finn (he/him); they met in high school, had this entire whirlwind romance based on spending time with each other between class and reading each other proust (it's actually kind of gross tbh lmao), and then they stole a car and ran away with each other. but then, uh oh sisters, they don't actually know each other that well???? they've romanticised each other to the point that they're only in love with each others' images??? so they end up trapped in this cycle of kind of hating each other, while also being attached at the hip. everything builds and builds and builds, until finn Does A Really Stupid Thing and long story short she ends up breaking his nose. from there, i have no clue
