So as a background, the country of Xelia is divided into several clans, based on their powers. Powers are not genetic, so children are sorted into clans at their coming of age ceremony. One clan called the Celestrial clan, was a clan of Xelians who had mixed powers. They were rare and extremely powerful. The Sol clan, also known as the king clan as they own the ruling city, feared them and placed a law that all of the Celestrial must give up their powers but one. They were also forbidden to marry an Xelian of the Selient Clan (dragon whispers), as their children would be too powerful.
So getting to the question, in one of my stories, a character, Prince Raven is a Selient, who falls in love with Kathryn who is a Celestrial although she doesnt know. Raven keeps it a secret that he is a Selient or that she is a Celestrial and that it is forbidden. Kathryn however finds out along with the fact, that they would be executed should the king know. And also that if they had a child, it too, would suffer death.
Should Kate forgive Raven or did he go to far?

I think she's got all the right to be extremely angry at him. It's pretty stupid and dangerous, for her life as well as his own. But on the other hand.. I do understand it. I hope she could too, see his point of view. I think it depends on her, is he like a forgiving type or can she easily hold a grudge? It's also possible for her to forgive him, but still find it not okay (that could lead to some fun conversations too..).

Haha, really??? I'm flattered :)
So, the reason is that Kate is the first person besides Raven's sister, to treat him like a human being. He isnt willing to give her up but after she realises and fights with him, he realises that if she means so much he should treasure her enough to let her go.
Kate does tend to hold onto grudges somewhat, but seeing that Raven is sincerely sorry might change her mind as well that he would give up the only that keeps him going.
And yes there will certainly be some very fun conversations.
