Let me be more clear. What would anxiety look like if it were a person? What clothes would anxiety wear? How would anxiety stand? How would anxiety have it's hair done? someone help?

Anxiety looks like a mess. It has wild eyes and hair that looks like its been touched by static. It would wear baggy clothes, so nobody could see what it's body shape. The clothes would be dull colored, possible black. Nothing that would stand out. Tons of makeup to hide the bags from sleepless nights. It would stand with it's shoulders slumped, usually against a wall in an attempt to blend in. I hope that helped. Good luck!
Kayla Thank you! That's the idea I had, but I wanted to hear what other people thought too!
I see anxiety as more of a clean-cut person, with neatly brushed hair and a soft voice. Everything has to be perfect, everything has to be just right or everyone will judge them. They try so hard to blend into crowds, not looking like a bum but also not looking fancy, just trying to look perfectly average. Their clothing is almost always dark grey or black, with the hood down so everyone may see their face and know that they aren't a threat. Their facial expressions may seem dull and muted, but their eyes are bright and alert, scanning everyone around them, determining if others may be friend or foe. They are hyper-vigilant, not only of others but also of themself, as they speak softly as to not scare others. They dare not be different or stand-offish, they must be perfectly normal, otherwise, they think everyone will hate them for being not "normal". Their mannerisms are slow and calculated, but at any moment they are ready to flee.

Anxiety would look like short messy hair and cozy sweatshirts with skinny jeans all in dark colors, to try and blend in with the blurs of everyone around them, anxiety would have dark circles under their eyes from staying up at night worrying about how things could have been and what could be. Anxiety would have a calm slumped stance but is very alert to everyone's words and movements, including their own. Anxiety would have a soft calming voice to those around them but can be very sharp in some moments.
My image of anxiety is always a very sharp contrast. On one side, around people, anxiety would perfectly composed and symmetrical, and just a little off. The other side not around people would be messy, mismatched clothes, dark eye bags, etc. Both would wear understated clothing and neutral, unnoticeable colors. If it was social anxiety I would imagine the character would be silent, maybe wearing a mask or smth.
I have anxiety myself, and when I was untreated I drew a character based on it. Anxiety has hair that is turning grey and falling out from stress. Anxiety has permeant bags under their eyes, and their eyes constantly dart around. Anxiety has a lot of sharp angles and a very loud, scratchy and whiney voice. They are hunched over and have their hands near their chest. They are shaking.
Anxiety differs from person to person. I say do your research and piece together a disorder that fits you character.

@Divine-Irish-Potato Nice. (My personal favorite Side is Logan, Logic for the win. Who's your favorite Side?)
But seriously, if you want some actual advice, I think Ikniss's point is really good. Everybody's anxiety is different, some people's anxiety comes out in them feeling like a blundering mess and in others, it's trying to be obsessive and controlling of their situation, and being incredibly stressed when that doesn't happen. So yeah.
( @I-make-stuff ake-stuff i really don't do the sanders side thing, but if i had to pick, it would be Virgil)
For me, I see anxiety as this very tall figure. Someone who's tall and just holds you against their chest swearing that they'll protect you from the world. Even though while your face is buried within their chest, they're smiling a wicked smile, because it knows it's toying with your feelings and trust. That they're getting you to put all of your trust in them, and there's none left for the outside world.
They have the type of voice that you would slap on that one father figure who's always telling you "it's okay, champ". But they don't really have a face for me. They're just a mannequin in a black t-shirt and some jeans. They look so friendly, yet when you look close, you can truly recognize just how creepy and bad for you they are. You find their smile, their damn twisted indent for a smile, to be so endearing. But by the time you truly see it for what it is, it won't let you go. It just keeps holding you until you don't fight it anymore. It keeps you there. Until someone pulls you free.
