I have a race of people who live on floating islands high in the sky (like really high) and I'm wondering what to call them. (I was gonna go with Skylanders, but y'know…no.)

I absolutely love naming new races. Here are some ideas for you –

• Cloudhoppers
• Windskaters
• Highlanders/Highlandians ('cause they're up high. That one is not so good xD)
• Sky Beings
• Spacegrazers
• Skyfolk

-Floaters
-Nimbus
-Cirrus

kind of depends what kind of language/vocabulary the people have, are they practical? in which case "skyfolk" sounds p good because it's simple and describes them. or cloud dwellers? idk. if they're more for attributing random words for people, try mashing together a bunch of translated words for "sky" n "people" or something.

Thanks for all your suggestions. I've decided to go with Highlanders (formal) and skyfolk (informal)
