So basically I've already put too much research into Sword Staff's and I've just had a deep interest with them but I've just realized I dunno how I'm going to implement at least one into my universe.
I've been thinking about what kind of character would use one class wise but come up with nothing.
I basically need to figure out what kind of class they would be so I can make the weapon unique to them and give it a design and name.
So far in my world only humans exist so no elves dwarves, fairies, etc. Also not too sure mage wise, haven't worked on magic at all.
so, i don't know much about sword staffs, but i just looked them up and i might have a couple ideas? like, maybe a specific brand of paladin use them, or a barbarian type race might. sword staffs scream 'big and strong' to me, so think along those lines, i guess
Well my world draws infuence from Scandinavia, Eastern Asia (basically Japan and China) and Europe (mostly England)
So maybe one of the Scandinavian dudes gets tired of using an axe and always gets disarmed with a sword so maybe he discovers the Sword Staff and falls in love with it.
there you go! i like that a lot! he gets fed up with each thing he tries for one reason or another, and then he finds this weapon and it's the perfect fit
