We all know the story of the superhuman child kidnapped by an evil government lab or of the hero who watched one or more parents be killed and turned it into their motivation or the fumbling magical teenage chosen one, but do you have an origin story that much more rare then that? One that is so original we have hardly ever or dare I say never seen before?

So, i don't know if this is unheard of. in fact, i'm pretty sure it may be somewhat of a cliche, but my character is Ramule Black!
So his story is: He was born human in a vampire clan that originates in Scotland, no one knows why, his older brother called him a genetic misfire (his brother Samule is kind of a dick). Welp, after he was old enough, mom and dad brought him to the other clans (Japan and England). there he made friends! so now, the group of friend consists of; Ramule Black and Samule Black - Scotland, Juugatsu Hayes and Leon Hayes - England, Okuma - Japan, Tsubaru - Japan.
Ramule started falling for Tsubaru, Okuma's mental stability has been declining and he finally snaps hearing this news. so he confronts mortal Ramule and rips out his heart. Tsubaru finds him…dead. she brings him back by turning him into a vampire and she runs off to confront Okuma while Ramule is still passed out.
he wakes up, realizes what happened, then goes to find Okuma/Tsubaru. he finds her beaten half to death (Okuma is long gone). so Ramule gets a bright idea. "if she saved me with her blood, maybe i can save her!" WELL, in my universe, none of the clans can drink their own blood or the blood of another vampire, it will cause them gut wrenching pain and WILL kill them. So, Ramule has Tsubaru in his arms as she dies a very painful death because he didn't know the rules.
So now Ramule is driving to become strong enough to protect those he cares about, and to eventually take down Okuma for what he caused. :)

my main (?) character lynx is inducted into a gang when he's 12 because his parents forgot he existed when they went on their 2nd honeymoon lmao
he struggles with toxic masculinity and internalized homophobia for like his entire teenage years n only ever comes to terms wit it when he meets his boyf

The most interesting character I ever came up with wasn't the main character, they weren't even really there most of the time but they did appear in different stories of the same universe centuries apart.
She was a Fae creature who had been roaming the world since the rise of the Roman empire and fell in love with a human Viking. After his death, she remarried several times to solidify her families reputation and power. When the other Fae left for their own world due to the witchhunts she stayed and eventually set humanity back on the path with magic.
She did all kinds of cool stuff over the span of 2000 years and the other Fae still think she's uninteresting.
