What is your MC's favourite book/ tv show genre and why. If you want to leave an example of a tv show/ book feel free.

Chelsea: Documentaries (she's always fascinated by the world around her - think those docuseries voiced by Morgan Freeman) and mysteries (she likes trying to figure out things for herself - she likes Sherlock Holmes), as well as sci-fi (Star Trek over Star Wars for her). She's not a huge fantasy person but will watch/read it with her friend who is super into fantasy (Tolkien, etc.).
Theo: Documentaries. He also enjoys sci-fi, which he prefers to call 'speculative fiction.'
Cody: Dramas and martial arts movies. He also likes fantasy more than the others, and is super into the lore, and drags Chelsea into it.
Meryn: Also likes fantasy, but simultaneously looks down upon it, so doesn't talk about that very much, though she is engrossed by the lore. She dislikes sci-fi for the reason that she feels similar to an alien humanoid or something from one. Also, she enjoys dramas and mildly realistic romance movies.
Aysen: He's honestly not picky, but enjoys sci-fi a lot. Also, cartoon shows (think Gravity Falls or The Owl House, or Phineas and Ferb or Avatar the Last Airbender).

Luna: Is only allowed to read ancient spell books. She is mostly illiterate in the common language.

Cari: Doesn't like to slow down to watch tv or read, but once she mellows out she enjoys contemporary fantasy and isekai stories (which, since she already lives in a fantasy world, is just contemporary fiction to us). She enjoys reading picture books to her daughter.

Andre: Probably likes comedies in the style of Brooklyn99, but hates reality TV and buddy cop movies. Would read historical nonfiction. Might be willing to make popcorn and watch a comedy if Elliot convinces them.

Ingrid: Doesn't spend time reading fiction unless she sees it as "influential". She probably follows the Newbery Medal winners and reads those. Would rather read nonfiction and watch documentaries. Loves reading comics in the paper and follows political cartoons.
