In one story I've got kids with superpowers that form a team. I need to have at least four, maybe five, but I want to know if more would be okay or too much. What's the perfect number for a dream team?

Go with however many you want! Its your story, no one is telling you how many characters you can and can't have
If I were writing it, I'd keep the number as low as possible so that I can flesh out each character equally. It gets kind of hard to keep up with so many characters running around, and if you're not careful, it gets chaotic. It's really up to you and what you're comfortable with as a writer.
I like to do six, In dunno why, it just works for me. But you do you.
I find the group seems more natural if its an odd number, so five sounds good.
I have a group of 6/7 teenagers (one doesn't really fit in and isn't present a lot) and find it hard to keep them together. Like I always split them up to have a private convo and such.
Maybe this is something to keep in mind. Five is still the best for a group of friends, but as a team I'd go for 5/6.
I see a lot of people who say "six" on here, and I would have to agree. I think six is a perfect number. You have just enough to have a diverse group of personalities and ethnicities. You can take on more prospectives and explore more roles with this group. This is what I would call a "healthy group" because you also have to think of your characters when you make a group like this. For example, why would your characters want a sizable group like this. Five is also a good size.
