So his name is Richter, I want the title to somewhat revolve around these details.
He had his heart torn out and replaced with a runic demon seal.
He and the Demon are permanently bonded, if one dies so does the other.
They have an arrangement where Richter is in charge, when the demon is in charge Richter's body transforms into a demon body.
Mostly they are both in control so it's Richter with demon horns, arms and torso.
Richter was a Doctor until that whole thing with the hear ripped out happened.
(This sounds honestly like a really cool story.)
Here are some off the top of my head:
- Heartless
- Bound Till Death
- Half Alive
- A Demonic Arrangement
If you don't like any of these, I'll rack my brain for more. But these were just ones that came while I read through your description.
I have a couple:
- the bond
- in control
- the demon in me
- his demons
Sorry if I couldn't help… hope I could =)
These are probably going to be pretty bad 'cause I suck at names, but this is interesting and I want to try anyways:
The Demon Doctor
(assuming the demon is from hell) The Hellish Heart
The Demon in Charge
(again assuming the demon is from hell) To Hell and Back
Bonded
I don't really know. I hope I helped :)
- The Doctor will see you Now.
- Mr. Phistophelian
(When you read that quickly, it sounds like Mephistophelian an adjective derived from early 19th century: from Mephistopheles, an evil spirit to whom Faust, in the German legend, sold his soul.)
- The Sabbath Appointment
- Enter, Apostle
- Well, I be damned (sorry, I just found that one quite funny)
- Holy laughter.
(This was a phrase linked to demonic possession or unholy actions (It means spontaneous laughter during a church meeting). It is mentioned in books like "The Crucible" where the main antagonist, Abigail Williams, is described as previously seen laughing during prayer.) You could also incorporate the phrase "laughter is the best medicine"
- The Honourius Complex
(Honorius III was a pope who wrote a book that helped categorized demons. Honorius is famous among popes for deliberately doing ceremonies to summon demons so he could then banish the demons back down to hell. Apparently, he wanted to be ready to fight Satan at any time, and the demons were his sparring partners.)
and finally, my favorite: Try and incorporate the demon name "Ronove"
Ronove is also a teacher, and reportedly instructs the person he inhabits about rhetoric and the art of insinuating themselves into other people’s good graces. But he’s also the “taker of old souls.” Basically, anyone who is older and looking a little poorly is going with Ronove when he decides to leave. (One dies, the other dies like your description.)
Hope i helped!
Okay damn you put a lot of thought into this so kudos to you. The name is definitely better than the ones I found. A lot of demon names were to complicated or long or just didn't vibe with me.
The last one is defs my favourite, even if I don't end up using it I might reference it since you offered up so much cool stuff for me. Thx dude.
No problem! I love naming characters, books, and finding titles lmao. It's like a weird hobby. I've had to do extensive research on mostly biblical entities before for an essay in philosophy and metaphysics. Just used my notes lmaooo
