Her name if Fern and the novel is the story of her life, she has green hair(a normal thing in her world) which she always, ALWAYS keeps in a braid, that's actually a plot point.
Desolation

this MC is from a story I’ve had around for a while but only recently got back to it. This guy is kind of interesting, since he does go through a lot of stuff over the course of the story.
He never quite got a name, just referred to him as The Main Character. Not in the story though, it takes place purely from his perspective.
TMC is neither good nor bad. Maybe leaning towards good at the start, but his main objectives are survival in this story. The world of Desolation is a big world - our world in fact, but something has happened. It only takes place from TMC’s perspective, meaning we see the event at a smaller scale, while the question remains on the outside world being the same or not.
In the world of Desolation, clear minds and sanity is key. When you’re trapped on a seemingly beautiful (yet deadly) island at day time, that becomes full on deadly at night time and deadly all of the time when you’re underground, you get to know that worrying isn’t going to do much for your being.
Indeed, while the island has normal animals on it, it’s also got big things. Dinosaur things. And at night, the scary things come out to hunt. Sometimes they’re around during the day.
TMC is kind of a curious person. He’s serious about things - but he knows when to not approach things. The dreaded bunker in my story is even seen multiple times, yet TMC never quite enters it until a few passovers of it. He’s not being cowardly…he’s actually quite reasonable, given that bunker was sealed from the inside for a reason.
He’s not a heroic protagonist but he’s also not evil, either. He’s just learning that he has to do whatever it takes to survive, especially since he doesn’t know what’ll happen to him in the end (I don’t either because I’ve not planned that far yet)
What I do have planned is TMC’s gradual fall into insanity, and let me tell you, that’s a time of emotional torture. He begins to dream of a being, a Deity in his mind a little ways into the story. Whether or not this deity is real is left unknown.
He also almost dies several times over this story - I’ve just had make sure to ensure that what happens to him is survivable.
What he does..a summary.
Survives, shoots things, looks at stuff, goes into underground bunkers. And accidentally releases a few things into the outside world.
daydreams. and dreams. and has nightmares too.
Tries to go home but nothings working. Comes close to giving up a few times, maybe even gives up for a while.
Does some cool stuff, gets nostalgia a few times, some happy things happen to him too so don’t worry!
Punches a giant alligator in the face. Climbs tree. Climbs lots of trees. TMC actually has to teach himself to climb trees in the book. Decided to include that as a part of his character that he doesn’t know how to climb trees just like me
Despite this being a story on the focus of his survival and him being a nameless character, he’s also one of my more human characters, seeing as I tried to make him a more 3D character by giving him different interests, flaws, mannerisms, behaviours, etc. I try to do that with all my characters, but it’s a bit easier to see on him, seeing as he’s the sole main character in the story, and thus easier to work with.

my main character is Page Fitzroy!! she's a charming, indomitable sports lesbian who has ended up attending her parents' alma mater Ames College (the very place where her mother died in a """car accident""" when she was only a year old). it's kind of weird, because she's never had impressive grades or test scores, and Ames is very prestigious, and she wasn't even sure if she was going to go to college before this woman Laurel started basically begging her to apply. but she got a track scholarship, so that tracks (haha tracks). except that Ames doesn't give out many athletic scholarships, and they usually reserve them for students with high GPAs. but she has legacy, so chalk it up to that!
well, at a track invitational towards the end of her first semester, she tears her ACL under circumstances as ~mysterious~ as the very fact that she's at Ames in the first place. shortly after this, she receives an email offering her a spot in a bizarre course next semester, taught by the president of the school himself, who claims that his students will learn about the ~unsolved mysteries~ of the college and the surrounding town. Page says fuck it, let's enroll. fast forward a little bit, and over the course of the spring semester (thanks to this weird class) she realizes that the president of the school is actually evil, falls in love with the evil president's niece who helps her and three of their classmates conspire against him, finds out her mom was a dryad and that she's the half-dryad chosen one according to a prophecy over a hundred years old, and has to go on a big old quest with her new friends.
appearance-wise, she's tall, robust, and fit; she's an athlete and definitely built like one. she's got brown hair that she wears in a tousled, wavy bob, warm brown eyes, bushy brows, and a dashing smile. she loves her father, who raised her by himself, and their relationship is deeply important to her, but she also longs to learn more about her mom. she comes across as well-adjusted, laid-back, and confident, and for the most part she is, but there's an emptiness and longing inside of her that she doesn't like to dwell on. she's a bit of a playboy, and the life of the party; she's always down for a good time, but when the going gets tough, she can fight with a brave face (sometimes too brave a face. express your feelings!). she loves to hike (and good thing she does), make fun of bad movies, flirt, and dress like a sexy barbecue dad. anyway, i love my golden-hearted dumb jock baby!
my main character is kacey langford! she's a 17-year-old bisexual who is kind, sweet, and a headstrong individual. the main storyline revolves around her in high school dealing with hardships and stuff. she's mixed-race and has vitiligo and freckles on her face.
