One of my villains was an Otome MC that was planned to be in a game where she was a detective, but the developer of her game changed ship seeing a certain game getting more popular, so instead she was put in an otome where all her love interests were bastard boyfriend, plus she was practically being victim-blamed by jealous fangirls, she was self-aware and attempt to mess up the game on several occasions but it failed, one day when a new update came out she manipulated the yandere LI into murdering his brothers, it was expected to the "good" end until she hacked the game and forced him to off himself (So basic if Yui Komori went all Monika from Doki Doki on her annoying thotpire captives) , she killed her love interest, escaped and now she's off to attack the fangirls and shove them in her place and making them endure the same torture she did
Now is this too much since, A: the developers were doing their job, the love interest were just written that way (though, it was implied that the love interests were self-aware and still didn't care) and the fangirls just thought she was a fictional character, therefore it didn't matter how they treated her and B well, psychologically torturing a bunch of admittedly annoying teenage girls just for having a bad taste in romance is obviously screwed up
But again seeing that Insato (Otome Mc) is probably not in the mental state due to being treated as a toy by her sigh "lovers", and was literally sat by helplessly as she was being bitten, mentally and s3xually abused, victim-blamed for not being able to leave and being literally written in a corner for the sake of the "R O M A N C E" 😒
so how to make look what she's doing if reasonable for her situation but wrong for hurting people (who she doesn't care for)
